āAfter my disappointing experience at Bojangles on Country Club in Winston Salem, I can now understand why the drive-thru and parking lot are always empty. Itās no wonder they have to put up āNeed Helpā signs. Despite only having a 5% improvement, itās evident that both the food quality and the employees are lacking. The rice I received was bad and mushy, resembling mashed potatoes more than rice. Itās disheartening to witness such a decline in standards.
I went to Bojangles with simple intentions: to order a kidsā meal and a family fry. However, the language barrier proved to be a significant hurdle, as the lady at the counter couldnāt understand my accent or my kidsā voices and didnāt bother to reply. Feeling frustrated, I proceeded to the window, only to find no one there to take my order. The lady who eventually appeared had either no teeth or broken teeth, and her voice was loud and cranky. She informed me that I was supposed to place my order through the speaker box, despite there being no one else there to decline it. Feeling upset and bewildered by the situation, I chose to leave.
Itās disheartening that language barriers can hinder simple transactions, and itās worth noting that it is not a crime to not speak English. Everyone should be treated with respect and understanding, regardless of language proficiency. Overall, my experience has left me with little desire to return to Bojangles on Country Club. This is not the first time Iāve encountered such issues, and every time I go there, itās just the same. There is always one lady who wears an orange shirt every day, and every time I see her, I question why she chose this job. When I saw the manager, I realized why the foundation is the worst, and they are messy and sloppy. The girl with blue eyes lacks life skills and doesnāt know her job. The manager even once said she needs a promotion, but I was annoyed by what she had said. I couldnāt stand to see this anymore.
They are wasting land and space, and if they are not performing well at all, it should...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis very new restaurant has a prime location and, with the dense population nearby, it should be busy...busy busy! This is not the case. There are likely a number of reasons for this. I've been to this location several times now, mostly because we love Bojangles' chicken and hoped things would improve. Hmm.
First, coming into the restaurant there is an immediate sense that not one employee is happy to work there and that (eventually) taking my order is an inconvenience. This is the restaurant's first person to encounter a customer, right? Why is there no one at the order station at all times, ready to serve customers with A SMILE? Moving on, I watch with interest as chicken is pulled from already-boxed meals and put onto plates of people who are dining in. What??? At most Bojangles restaurants, chicken, etc., is front and center on a steam table where customers can see what they're about to be served. Here, you see someone pulling PRE-BOXED chicken from a shelf or drawer, hard to say which. How long has it been there? On my last visit, we ordered a Bojangler, much advertised. It obviously had been cooked many hours prior, was very thin and dry, the bun fell apart right out of the wrapper, the tartar sauce was a tiny blob. Awful. Thankfully, we'd gotten some chicken, too, just in case the fish was a flop.
There is little, if any, follow-through to ensure an order is fully completed. Bags or plates are put on the pickup counter without identifying what it is or who it's for. Most orders are missing something. And when mistakes are made, there are no apologies.
Unless something major changes, this restaurant will fail. Employees need thorough training in customer service, quality control, etc. They need motivation.
Perhaps management should visit any Chick-fil-a. Now THAT is how to run a business. They are number one...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe Bogangles on 4897 Country Club Rd in Winston Salem NC is the worst Bogangles in NC!! They are extremely rude and not mention the cursing that happened (over the speaker) while we were in line waiting to get our food. She asked for our order then interrupted us and cut us off from ordering, just to tell us to wait. If you want to be cursed out and wait to have your food then go here. If you want to be treated with respect and have your order right go somewhere else! I give this restaurant 0 stars. We will never ever go back to this Bogangles!! This Bogangles used to be the best one, but now they are the worst. Personally I feel like they need to close this Bogangles down or rehire new staff and management. I have it one star only because there is not a zero rating. Update on my Bogangles review on Country Club Dr. We decide to try to give them another chance, but when we entered the store, 2-3 employees looked directly at us in line and just turned their heads. Waited a few minutes (no one else was in line) before someone finally came to take our order. This was inside not the drive thru. After taking my order and my husband was giving his order, another employee came over and told us theyāre only taking cash! We couldnāt use our card, only cash! I am now officially not ever going there again. In other words, Bogangles is still the worst on Country Club. Save yourself some time and gas and find somewhere else to eat! Stick a fork in us because we are so done with them! Boganglesās went down hill when a company from New York bought this...
