I have been spending money here for a good 10-15 years. I’ve notice a very heavy down tick in quality of service, food, and overall satisfaction.
Today was the last straw. I called to place a lunch order and they asked me to hold. Perfectly fine. However they continued to have a conversation with someone while not having the phone on mute. 5 minutes passed and I decided to drive while on the phone to the restaurant since I live close by.
I arrive, still on hold. I walk in and have enough time to pay $20 to some nice lady soliciting inside the restaurant selling hats and cookies in a bag. No big deal but people should t be bothered while dining at a table by vendors wandering around in restaurants.
Anyways. I finish up with her (bought some cookies bc I’d rather spend money with her at this point) then confront the woman leaning on the bar as if she’s half asleep and zoned out. I tell her I’ve been on hold long enough to drive to the location (they were not busy at all Thursday at 2:30) and haven’t been able to place my order. She gives me an attitude and acts like she doesn’t care and doesn’t ask to take my order. Just disregards me and stares off into space like I wasn’t there.
I explained I’ve been coming here for years and was curious as to how they handle situations like this and that is seems quite rude. She can’t communicate well, that’s okay. But her not caring whatsoever about me wanting to place an order, that I was on hold for 10 min, or that I was requesting a manager. She literally waved me off and told me no. Zero disregard for the customer and or situational awareness.
When I asked for a manager very politely she just stared at me and told me no and that he isn’t coming till later and just looked off like I wasn’t going to walk away.
In this economy you should be happy the restaurant is open. And making money. Not shooing away your loyal customers and providing everything BUT good customer service. Completely unprofessional.
So I did walk away and spent my money elsewhere. I went up the rd to Los Juanes, and was greeted with a smile, a menu, speedy service, better atmosphere and better food. Should have gone there first. I included my review below of this very same restaurant from 2 years ago. My phone call and the wonderful bag of food I obtained within 10 minutes of arriving at Los Juanes.
I will be returning when the manager is present. Actively trying to spend money and staff shooing you away or disregarding mistakes is unfortunate for this business and...
Read moreMy boyfriend and I come here pretty often because it’s close to home, but I don’t think we will be coming back either at all or for a long while. We were really disappointed with our experience tonight. We came in, sat down, and ordered our food. Both of us ordered very common dishes. He ordered ACP. Two other tables beside of us came in and sat down, got their food, and paid long before he ever got his food. The waitress walked passed our table multiple times and never made eye contact with us or asked us if everything was alright until we were finally able to flag her down and tell her it had been about an hour and he still hadn’t got his food yet. It was getting late, so we asked to get his food to-go at that point. My food came out on time, but it was lukewarm. When we asked for his food to-go, it still took another 25-30 minutes just to get the food to go. I understand that it was more than likely the cook’s fault, but there seemed to be no urgency with this waitress. Mind you, the restaurant was not busy at all. I’m pretty sure the waitress knew we were upset because when we went to pay, she stood there and watched my boyfriend write the tip, so he felt obliged to tip at least 15% even though the overall service was terrible tonight. That was what really drew the line for me to write this review. You don’t ever watch your customers write the tip. That is very...
Read moreThis place is stealing your money without you even knowing. I called in an order, and 15 minutes later picked it up. Total was close to $40 which seemed odd. I grabbed a to-go menu from the register to double check the prices since my menu was older. Nothing price wise was any different when comparing the menus. I called the restaurant once I was home to try and figure out why the order was so expensive. The girl got the manager (Ceasar) who was extremely rude. He told me the lunch special ACP was $8.99. My menu that I just got from the restaurant has the item listed for $6.49. And if you get to-go orders in general they skimp you on the portions. I barely had any chicken at all. In the picture included are all the prices this disgusting manager told me the items cost, which are all above listed prices. I had a friend call about an hour later to ask them how much their LUNCH special ACP was and they told him $8.25. Not only is that completely different from what I was told, that’s the price listed in the menu for the dinner portion. Beware. What this company is doing is extremely illegal and if it happens to you be sure...
