Been here several times. Usually very good but not the last time. I wanted to go here for my bday and just get some good pizza. and ended up super bummed.
They were busy so I don't know if they turned the oven heat up to speed up cooking time or what but the NY style pizza was charred on the underside, while the top looked normal. I couldn't eat it, it just tasted bitter and burnt because of the crust.
Then the Sicilian, the dough was cooked (though not as crunchy as it usually is) but the cheese was not fully melted. Like under the top layer of sort of melted cheese there was a layer of shreds of cheese that were barely warm.
There was also a mix up when I ordered. I asked for a 15" NY style and she rang up a large. We def didn't want the larger pizza because we were getting 2 pizzas. Then it being burnt and having that much left over and the extra cost, I was pretty annoyed. Not at her really because it was just a mistake and she accidentally thought the large was 15" I guess but still. Overall, if this was the first time I'd been there I'd never go back. Which sucks because I really liked this place and the staff is...
Read moreLast night is the second time we (my husband and I) have come to eat dinner at Pizza Greco. The pricing is very reasonable for the amount of food you are getting. The staff are very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. Also, the restaurant, although not big, is clean, well lit, and the space feels cozy. As for the food, the ingredients are fresh and tasty. There are also a good number of customizable options. As an example, for pasta dishes you have the option to select the pasta sauce (Alfredo, Marinara, or Rose cream sauce) and the pasta itself (Spaghetti or Rigatoni). I selected Pasta Trio for my dinner, which I was informed is a new pasta menu item. The Pasta Trio consists of meatballs, Italian sausage, and chicken (fried or grilled). I selected the rose cream sauce, Rigatoni, and grilled chicken. I also had a side salad and garlic bread. Let me tell you… The Pasta Trio was AMAZING - deliciously fresh and flavorful!! If you have not yet tried this restaurant, check it out. We will be back again...
Read moreLocated in a small strip just off the main road it is a nice friendly family restaurant. Staff is very friendly from the moment you walk in. You order at the counter for either take out or dine in. Pleasant decor and one tv to keep you entertained as you wait for your food. Self serve fountain drinks as well as fresh ice tea. I have had the pizza here and really like it. Today I got the meatball parmigiana sub. It comes with fries or a bag of chips. You can also upgrade to a salad for an up charge. The sub, or hero as I call it, looked sloppy upon receiving it, but that’s ok because it made up for it in flavor. The bread was toasted just right and the gooey mozzarella was fresh and just the right amount. The meatballs tasted fresh and not frozen, my only complaint was that it could have used two more meatballs. I had a lot of bread, luckily the marinara sauce and cheese was great when the meatballs were gone. Will be trying more of their food. Wine available for those who like a nice...
