I love the revamp they did on this restaurant, but there are things on the menu you will never be able to get. I have tried several times, to order a diet slush, to be told that there is no 'diet' slush flavor, despite listing at least 4 if not 5 diet flavors on the menu. This place is either constantly poorly or understaffed, or the entire staff needs to be retrained (I would doubt it is the latter.). The wait times are so awful that I regularly watch cars exit the drive thru line and leave to find alternative options as the car at the order speaker may wait up to 6 minutes for their order to be taken, or even interrupted while ordering, only to wait another 5 minutes to start over from the beginning. The staff is always courteous and very friendly, but something just doesn't work correctly at this location. Go when it isn't busy and you will have a superb visit. Edit: We went back when it wasn't busy last week around 7pm and ended up waiting 20+ minutes for our payment to try to be processed. From inside this location I can tell there are multiple systems and process issues. People are assigned duties that are all over the map, instead of close in proximity. No one seems to be devoted to any specific tasks and often someone moves onto another task, never to return, leaving customers stumped. There were 8 people in line as they tried to process our payment ( on several different registers); the register just wouldn't function correctly (they said the registers were brand new). By the end, there were 2, the people behind us. People ended up walking out. At some point the staffmember on register requested assistance from another staffmember in the kitchen, but as that staffmember was busy, everyone was forced to wait 15 minutes until she was not busy. It wasn't as if she'd wandered off, the kitchen is open, you can see everyone there. She stood in the same spot, prepping food. The location seems quite adequately staffed, but the menu inside is completely different to the menu outside, no one knows how to work a register IF the registers work and everyone is busy saying excuse me as they wade through coworkers and then rocket to pluto for their next task. Read moreI brought my kid's here to enjoy their Saturday fun day and was disappointed after ordering. We were missing chicken tenders from the order cool no problem they had just dropped the food off. I buzzed the window again to explain I was missing an entree, I had all the sides and drinks just needed the other tenders. I paid on the digital screen so no receipt printed out and they didn’t bring me one, but they asked if I had the receipt for proof I said no and was never given one. I guess they didn’t like that made and me get in the drive thru line and re explain how I was only missing one tender order. I get to the window and it’s 3 females in the window looking at me crazy, and I really just want my kids food it’s really not that serious, I paid and expect good customer service mistakes happen. I don’t know if the girl was a manager or what but she was a young Spanish/Latina with dark hair didn’t see her name tag. She asked me if I forgot to order tenders, and I told her no you all forgot to give me my other order. I paid $33.10 no I did not forget to add to my order. She had an attitude and I don’t appreciate all of them coming to the window as if they were trying to to intimidate me. I asked for honey mustard they gave me marinara, I had to get out the car this time only to meet her in person with more attitude and at this point I have an attitude as well. Please do better people work too hard to deal with attitudes after orders are messed up and I still never received my receipt that she asked me for. 😒
The food wasn't good over salted fries my burger was basically meet and cheese and little lettuce and one pickle. At least the fries were hot I guess. I just wish would’ve never came I want my money back since I can’t get my time or patience...
Read moreI've worked in food service before, and what I received today was beyond pitiful. This place needs to be turned upside down. My grandad was shortchanged at the window, and when asked about where his remaining 31¢ change is, the cashier at the window whose name I regrettably failed to get acted so inconvenienced by the situation she dropped the change into his hand with a sneer and told us to pull up. No apology, nothing. We then waited upwards of 10 minutes for a small order; cheese coney, pretzel twist, unsweet tea with added vanilla flavoring. We were told we had to move because the car behind us couldn't get out even though we were there first, and they got their order before us. I'm almost positive my food was tampered with. If I end up sick from lukewarm food that's been contaminated without my knowledge, there will be hell to pay.
Edit: Some time ago, new management took over this location. It was great for about a month, but the past several days have been an utter dumpster fire. The quality of the food and the cleanliness of the dining room has maintained acceptable standards, but the service has taken a dark turn. It isn't nearly as bad as it once was, but it's gotten significantly worse. I don't know if the manager I met whom originally took over this Sonic has left the company or simply transferred locations, but I haven't been satisfied with the staff lately.
