I have been going here for 6 years. I moved from up north where there were barbershops in, every corner of Dominican hood I grew up in. Supercuts doesn't fly with me, and African American barbers are more my style, but not all are licensed to use a straightedge razor. These guys are as authentic as can be. I 've known the owner since he moved here. He first started as a employee, then took over the business & really spruced up the place. Feels clean & modern, the prices are still reasonable, and all the barbers use a straightedge razor. It also has a hip atmosphere, but he makes sure to keep it professional. His business continues to grow, once you get a haircut here, you can't go anywhere else, especially...

Most definitely wish I couldn’t give a star because they don’t deserve it. I walked in and they all had an excuse as to why they “couldn’t” give me a cut. Don’t waste your time not worth the headache. First guy just didn't want to do it, second guy was booked for the day but the shop was empty, and 3rd guy had a family situation (which is more understandable). 1st guy obviously doesn't like money since he didn't want to make any. and the 2nd guy could have squeezed me in, my cut is very simple. But its fine, they must be to "high" class for a simple person like myself. Not a problem barbers a dime a dozen. Where one person's money is no good another person will...

My first visit to Patron Barbershop will be the first of many. I tend to try out new hairstyles after letting my hair grow out, and this time I wanted to try something new. Maria was fine with me showing her some photos for reference, which she analyzed thoroughly and then offered me feedback and suggestions to make sure she could give me the look that I wanted.
