Zoe's Family Restaurant- Trenwest — Restaurant in Winston-Salem

The nicest people you’ll ever meet work at this location! I work in the area and this restaurant has quickly become one of my go-tos. They are speedy and efficient without sacrificing quality and friendliness for either of those qualities. They also have the BEST reuben I have ever had!!

The servers are incredibly personable and they pay a lot of attention to their customers. Within about a month of coming in somewhat regularly, several of the waitresses had memorized my usual order as well as my coworker and I’s drink preferences. (If your server is either of the Patricias or Jessica, you are in great hands!!)

This location is also especially wonderful for people who need to run to and from lunch quickly. You can easily be in and out within an hour, and your check is dropped off with your food so you can check out when ready.

Overall, I can’t recommend this location enough! Their lunch and breakfast specials are all delicious and the people who work here are phenomenal!! I definitely recommend checking it out if you’re ever...

I usually have a wonderful experience at this location and frequent the restaurant quite often. I ordered a “chicken filet” sandwich and it was a rock hard chicken patty that tasted awful. It seemed to be one of those frozen chicken patties. I asked the waitress if I could speak to the manager so they could take the meal off of my ticket as I had only taken one bite. The manager didn’t even bother to come to my table to apologize, and then made the waitress (who was very kind) tell me that they would not take the meal off the ticket because it was described on the menu what the sandwich was. I was flabbergasted and asked what did the description have to do with the way it tasted? The waitress was apologetic and said that she just does as she’s told. I won’t be back anytime soon. I thought they cared about their customers and satisfaction....

My husband & I eat often here and usually sit in the front of the restaurant but today we sat in the back. We waited for about 6 minutes before anyone came to take our order. A white couple came in after we arrived and the waitress went to take their order. As she passed my husband told her we wanted coffee and we had been here first. She then told another waitress to wait on us. Then another white couple came in got their order before us. Our coffee came cold while everyone else's came hot. Then we waited another 5/6 minutes for hot coffee. This waitress looks Greek. There seems to be some bias in her demeanor. If this is the case, watch it. A lot of black folks patronize this establishment but things can change in the twinkling of an eye unless you don't vale our business BUT if it matters help this waitress change for the hood of...
