Winter Garden Resturant — Restaurant in Winter Garden

I hate doing this. Ive been going here for several years 2 or 3 days a week. Ive allways never had an issue till the other day. .I went in for lunch and ordered the daily special of meatloaf for 9.99 it came with 2 sides, I ordered mashed potatoes and a side salad wit a sweat tea. I got my bill it was a touch under 20.00 . I asked why is my bill 20.00 before tip when my meal is 9.99 with 2 sides. I was told my tea was 2 00 and change. I said ok that's 13.00 were is the additional 7.00 coming from. They said they forgot to tell me salad is an upcharge now and forgot to tell me. I said 7.00 for a side salad , did you take diff out between one of my sides. I paid it and peacefully left. I have called back 2 times now to speak to a manager about it and they said there was not one on duty the first time I called and that they would be there next day. I called next day and was told that one is not there and that when I asked I was told they'd be here today and asked when they would be in she told me that they come in at different times.

Needless to say I'm sorry I won't be back. I don't see how a 10.00 meal turns into 20.00 with 2...

Sat down waited 15 minutes at a dirty table and not even acknowledged. I understand they are busy but at least make an acknowledgment to let us know you realize we are here. The waitress didn’t even look our way. She walked past us several times and didn’t say a thing. I also understand this is probably A locals hangout however, if you are open to the public, you should be treating everyone the same. Asked her finally after 20 minutes if we could get a rag to clean the table because it was dirty, she threw menus on the table oh, she brought a rag all right and literally tossed the salt and pepper and katsup to the edge of the table. We finally just got up and left won’t be there again and wouldn’t advise anybody to go there unless you are a local. Need to reconsider the waitress she needs to maybe find a new job. Seemed like a friendly, regular diner. Clean and friendly. I read the other reviews, and nothing matched. Only a dummy would complain about waiting to be seated when there is a sign at the door...see photo. We had hamburger and fries... Fries could have used another minute to be crispy, and I had 1/2 sausage gravy/ biscuits, and sausage patties. It was regular breakfast fair. Not store bought.
