Best Restaurants in Orlando – A Foodie’s Guide for Friends Like Me

I love Thai Blossom - I love Thai food, I’ve been coming here for many years, and this restaurant is always consistently very good! They have great quality of food, great service, and a great atmosphere inside. It’s an icon to Winter Garden and always an amazing choice if you’re in this area for dinner! No matter what I’ve ordered here, I’ve always been very happy - their portion sizes are also super big for some dishes, so you might even have a whole second meal when you order something! The tom yum soup (and the version with coconut milk) is excellent, pad Thai is perfect, their cashew nut chicken is really good, and Thai basil duck is pretty much a go-to all the time for me. I have tried their massaman, panang and yellow curries - all super good and definitely worth getting. Their seafood entrees are awesome as well! I love the “Seafood Shipwreck”, nam prik pao, and many other seafood dishes. And as for appetizers, you could order pretty much anything - nam sod, satay chicken, potstickers, fried wontons, summer rolls, etc. - and it’ll pretty much always be good! I definitely recommend coming multiple times, trying a range of different entree items (noodles, stir-fry, basil duck, etc.), and truly seeing what this restaurant is capable of. You will not be disappointed!

I recently had a lunch experience with my family at Thai Blossoms Restaurant in Winter Garden, and unfortunately, it left us feeling disappointed. Despite the quick seating and fast service, the lack of authentic Thai flavors was a letdown. The restaurant seemed to lean more towards Americanized Thai food, which didn't meet our expectations. For our appetizers, we ordered chicken satay and summer rolls. While the summer rolls were enjoyable, the chicken satay was disappointingly oily. The excessive oiliness detracted from the overall taste and left us wanting more. Moving on to the main course, we opted for orange chicken, kid chicken fried rice, and regular chicken fried rice. Unfortunately, both fried rice dishes were excessively oily. The greasiness overshadowed the flavors and made the dishes less enjoyable than we had hoped. Overall, our lunch experience at Thai Blossoms Restaurant fell short of our expectations. The lack of authentic Thai flavors and the excessive oiliness in some of the dishes left us unimpressed. While the quick service, friendly waitresses and fast food delivery were positive aspects, they were not enough to compensate for the disappointment in the taste of the food.

Thai Blossom Restaurant is good. I'm a local so I'm giving very honest review as all my reviews. First, let me say, the staff is SUPER nice and attentive. They are kind and sweet actually and very personable. I don't get to eat here too often so please don't entirely base this three star review on them. I did though have to give my most recent visit for my meal, which was mediocre. I had stir fried tofu with veggies, medium hotness. Came with their usual cute portion of heart shaped rice. It was bland unfortunately. And by that, not by the "hot/heat" of the pepper, but overall taste. It should have had way more flavor, especially for a Tofu dish and Thai food. My husband's meal wasn't too bad as he had Jumbo Shrimp/Prawns with Fried Rice. Same plate. There were some veggies mixed in and it had a very strong ginger taste, perhaps a bit overpowering (and we both love fresh ginger). I had an appetizer of the spring rolls. While they were brought to the table crispy and crunchy as they should be, they had a slight "stale" taste. Disappointing. To be frank, not just in this establishment but other Asian (Chinese) take outs, I experienced similar tastes when it came to THEIR spring rolls. Are these not selling quick enough and sitting in refrigerator or freezer too long? Still, this has just not happened here with regard to this item. But as much as we have to cut corners especially now. I know. I certainly do understand. And visitors and patrons are slowly, slowly returning. We have to find a way to please our patrons with food that IS NOT STALE. This does reflect on even the best restaurants. I know. I've eaten at Thai Blossom before, earlier last year. ALL of my food and we (my sister and I) ordered many plates and loved every single bit and bite and wanted more. Will I return to Thai? Yes. I'll give them another try. It wouldn't be fair to not.

I gave three stars because I'm a previous patron who thoroughly enjoyed their food and the service. That has always been great. For service I'd...

So a few of my friends and i decided to try this restaurant were avid cyclist and live in Winter garden. Our waiter kim was friendly and took out order. A few moments later the food came out really fast the you lady began putting the food on the table then she suddenly proclaimed oh sorry it the wrong table! So she took away the rice ,chicken, fried tofu.. i was like that strange the food hit the table and i work in the service industry normally you toss the food it it hit the wrong table but i shrugged it off! about 10 minuets later the same food comes out with the rest of the dishes and we were like if this the same food but being that it was dropped at our table i decide not to make a fuss. We ate chat and the server brought the check, He was a bit busy while we were trying to flag him down to pay. again we saw no need to complain about such a small issue he just kept chatting then he came back we paid and not a few moments after we paid. One of the staff A LADY came over with a scoul on her face and rudely demanded that we LEAVE because they were busy and need the table!!! after the messed up the delivery of the food and took their time to get us cashed out she was basically kicking us out SMH!!!! Now i a firm believer in it.s not what you say but how you say it! she could have communicated it in a nicer way as we were actually on our way out we were just wrapping conversation. Here in America kicking patrons out is considered rude!!!! i have never in my20 plus years of working in the food and beverage industry kick out a table even if we were busy and they were finished eating it just in bad taste because it purely transactional! like thank you for spending your money now leave out byee!!! Needless to say i will never return they are many other places we can go to spend our money!!Go here if you so choose but make sure you eat fast and leave fast!! i will not be recommending it to my family or my friends!! terrible way to treat...

I don't think i have ever received such BLATANT, RUDE service. We went there on Palm Sunday, right after church. It must had been around 1:30 or 2pm when we got there. When we (hubby, our 2 boys, & myself) walked in we didn't have to wait at all. A very nice female received us at the door. When we sat down, I noticed thar we were the only Black family there. A heavy set female came to our table and said she was gonna be our server. She brought the drinks and took our meals order. Then someone from the kitchen brought our appetizers. Later, the same person from.the kitchen brought our meals orders. Mine you, that in the meantime, she was going back and forth in the rows of booths next to us asking everyone if they were ok, if they needed anything. Every time, she would skip our booth and get right on. My son (13yo) motion her about the drink needing to be replaced. She looked at us and kept on moving. Not a word exchanged with us since she took our order. We put the plates in which we were eating the appetizers to see if she would pick them up. NOTHING! She talked to the patrons in the booth before us, SKIPPED us, spoke to the patrons in the booth after us. I was STUNNED! In my whole 23 years living in FL, I don't recall ever been the subject of such blatant discrimination. We picked to eat there because we had such great memories of this place. Two(2) years ago, we lived in WG and we used to eat there for family casual outings. Unfortunately, that experience left such a horrible taste in our mind that I don't know if we would ever go back! It was a horrendous...
