It has been quite some time since I was last year and from what I have experienced with this chain, they are gradually going downhill. This location used to be really good and I've had problems the last several times I was here, but I decided to try them again because I was in the area. There were several cars pulled up in spaces, but most of the menu boards had out of order signs on them. I decided to just do the drive-through since I was limited for time anyway. When I pulled up, the menu board was wrapped in plastic wrap with a big out of order sign on it as well. Staying in line I realized I would probably have to order at the window and wait. There was one lady who came out and took the orders from some vehicles and took their payments. The vehicle in front of me ended up ordering at the window and I saw them receive a couple of drinks. While waiting the lady came out and took my order. All I wanted was a chili cheese dog with fries and a slush. In the middle of ordering she was shaking her head and I stopped. She told me they were out of chili. I ended up ordering an American dog with no ketchup with fries, and a strawberry slush. The car behind me also ended up ordering and received their order before I got mine, and then I received mine while the car in front of me was still at the window. Service, for me, was actually fairly quick considering. From the moment I got in line till I drove off was about 15 minutes.just a little longer than I would have anticipated. My food was OK as it was prepared properly. The hotdog tasted as expected, but the french fries were not very hot. The strawberry slush was surprisingly good. It was my first time trying this particular flavor so I was very happy with my choice. I definitely won't be frequent Sonic and wouldn't be surprised if as a company they don't make it unless they start making some real changesin many of their locations. Read moreStopped in at Sonic in Winter Haven, Florida to order a few things and decided to order all the kids the Sweet Mini’s advertised on the sign. When the carhop brought us our order, the minis were in different, slightly larger cup, but only had maybe 2 good bites in them. Probably about 1/4 the size they usually are (we’ve had them many times at many different sonics had no whipped cream on them either. When we questioned the carhop about why they were so small, she said that they didn’t have any lids for the cups the minis come in, so they had to use the next size up. That would have been fine, had there been the same amount as usual, but this was not the case. When we tried to explain this to the carhop, she became very rude and argumentative, and rather than making some sort of attempt to make things right, instead stormed off while we were still talking. Thats why I give Sonic in Winter Haven 1 star. And I would give them less if I could. Poor quality, poor service and no concern for customer satisfaction. Very disappointing because the Sonic franchise is usually one of our favorites and gets business from us, literally, on a daily basis.

Read moreThe bathrooms desperately need attention. Like, tile hanging off the wall bad. The service was absolutely disappointing and incredibly bad. We placed our order online so all we had to do was pull up and check in. We waited around 20+ minutes before someone in my party buzzed in to say we've been waiting and told we weren't checked in, which is an utter lie because we did but had no verbal acknowledgement at all. Someone else from my group watched them pick up our order that she told them to remake because our shakes were half melted and our food was most likely cold. We received no apology or explanation. I get it. I've worked minimum wage before at a place that had a reputation, but we still did our best to apologize when we messed up. We're all only human, but there is no excuse for how poor this was. Do better. Edit after finally having food: We never got a physical receipt and our food was absolutely not remade.
