Carver's Breakfast & Burgers — Restaurant in Winter Park

For starters got told wait time was gonna be 10 minutes and turned out to be 30-40 minutes. Once we were sat they didn’t tell us who are server was gonna be they just threw the menu on the table and walk away. Once we got our drink taken we don’t know who the waiter he didn’t introduce him self nor welcome us but we also gave him our food order as well because it took him a while to even go ask for our drink order. The only other time we saw him was when he was bringing out the food never came to check on us. he came back to clear our plates and than disappeared for 20 min we were waiting for him to ask us about our check so we could tell him it was gonna be split up and he never did he just dropped the check on the table and walked away until I kinda had to holler at him to ask him where we even pay because he was already so far and when he never came back I went to the counter to try and find him so we could pay and ask if it would be possible to split the check he got annoyed/ irritated when asked and continued to answer rudely. I said what ever and just paid it in full to get the hell out of there. Tip was already included as well in the check if it wasn’t for that I wouldn’t have left the waiter a tip and I hope he gets his attitude checked if he is going to be working in a place where he has to interact with people.

So disappointed in this restaurant. I have been coming here for 20 years. The new location is right next to my house and I loved the ability to walk here with friends, family and visitors in town. I brought some friends there today and we had our dogs with us so we used the labeled “dog entrance” to walk them onto the patio and then I went inside to talk to the host. The restaurant was fairly empty with only a couple parties on the patio. The host/server was extremely rude and told me we couldn’t wait on the patio with our dogs and needed to bring our dogs around the front to the parking lots and “stand at the house stand” inside. When I asked if we could wait on the patio with our dogs, he told me very rudely one person can wait with the dogs in the parking lot and the other person needs to stand here at the host stand. He would not let us wait with our dogs on the mostly empty patio labeled “dog entrance”. I didn’t want to leave my dog in the parking lot and stand at the host stand for who knows how long so we left. As we were leaving I head him telling a table that he was tired from a camping trip in Ft collins the night before. Such a bummer to no longer feel welcome at this restaurant that I have loved for so long and to be treated so rudely upon entrance :( sadly, i will not...

Went for dinner because we thought we’d give the new location and dinner menu a try. Bad idea. There weren’t many tables full when we walked in but it became full after we arrived. Our server was completely overwhelmed and couldn’t handle what tables he already had. Really wish we got sat in the other section because he had it together.

I was first shocked that they ONLY served burgers. One chicken I guess and you could upgrade to chicken if you needed. Oh and two salads. The prices are outrageous for a single burger and then you have to add on fries or tots or anything else. After we finally ordered our server never brought us utensils or more water. Our food was served, I asked for water, silverware, napkins and hot sauce. He came back with a jar of hot sauce and a jar of silverware with ONE napkin for 2 people. He checked on us once and I asked for more napkins. They never came. I finally got one off another table. He never checked on us again. He finally brought the bill, I immediately handed him my credit card because I didn’t want to deal anymore. After he ran my card and took the plates away he brought us more napkins! So not needed.

$44 for one hamburger & tots, and one chicken burger. Only water no drinks. Overwhelmed...
