I was overall happy with my evening here. I ultimately got 3 glasses of wine and the meatballs and macaroni tapas. It actually was the perfect serving of food for a single person, however... I'm not entirely convinced that it was made fresh, especially the macaroni, which is actually penne.... and the meatball didn't seem to actually be meat, but it was still delicious. There were a lot of lovely people to talk to, and it had a nice outdoor patio area that I think would benefit from having some available shade in the summer afternoon, but by the time I went out there that evening, the building next door was casting a shadow, which worked well for me! The bartenders and wait staff were very friendly and helpful. Overall, I'd return and, in fact, had planned to do so yesterday evening, but after 2 days of hiking, I was beat and just wanted to relax at my quiet campground especially with as busy as town was. I'll still stop in again the next time I visit Winthrop!

A local woman in Twisp told us we HAD to try Meza and I am so glad we did. Everything was so great and was exactly what we needed post adventuring. Perfect way to refuel our bodies. The moment we walked in we were greeted with such welcoming fragrances from the kitchen. I wanted to order way more than we did, but the three plates we shared were the perfect combinations and amount of food. Meatballs (beef and lamb with Mediterranean flavors and arugula that I will dream about), roasted cauliflower that was unexpectedly packed with flavor (tahini, raisins, walnuts, and capers), and some roasted and smashed potatoes, simple yet rounded off our meal perfectly. Beer and wine selection was good and the outdoor seating was a nice option since the sun was shining and the river was nearby and staff were helpful and friendly. Took a photo after we started eating since the plates came out separately, plus the food was too good to wait.

Really good restaurant and not just for a small town... good for anywhere. To eat we had: deviled eggs 4/4, chicken 4/4 (but a little fatty for my taste), olives 4/4 (but with pits), the salty bread 5/4 (get two orders), caesar salad 2.5/4 (I just don't like caeser if it's not romaine) and the hummus with pita 3/4 (the hummus was good, but the pita wasn't). We each had one glass of wine. Malbec was yummy, and the Rhone blend was so-so (but, wine is very subjective). The owner and the other staff were very nice and attentive, and the decor is trendy and pleasant. All in, we really enjoyed our visit, and will definitely go back.

Local resident- had passed by multiple times because, well, menu seemed appetizerish. Decided to go tonight. Meatballs were AMAZING. Chicken seasoning and tenderness were to die for. Yams were good but didn’t dig the yogurt topping- would have preferred a more traditional melted marshmallow topping. GREAT wine selection, GREAT Tap wall! Ambience and service were 5 star for sure. Happy that there is a stage and that owner seeks ongoing musical talent from local artists. Personally think some traditional menu “entrees” even if one took the meatballs and chicken and added some veggies and rice or potatoes might pull some more folks in- BUT that is a very minimal critique. Oh and they have baguettes! Closer than Mazama! Overall, will DEFINITELY...
