I did have an ok review now it's not. On 5/30/25 at about 7 pm I went in to place 2 orders. 1 for my free baconator sandwich that was free with my app. I gave them the scan code and the cashier scanned it. Since there was a sale on it the computer messed up and wanted to charge me 3$ for the earned reward that was supposed to be free. The manager was of ABSOLUTELY no help to the cashier and me. The cashier told me an idea to place a mobile order for that item. And to go ahead and place my bigger order from her. It was a good idea. However, when I placed the order I had originally changed it from my favorite store to that one. And I didn't check it after I put the item in my cart. And I hit send. After all my food was put on the counter I realized it after the manager (because the young lady had to go to break. Not her fault she did try to help make sure they would get me my mobile order before she left for break). Had said she still didn't get my nobile order. And ironically when I was forced to either let my 800 points go bye bye or drive to the store, since this manager told me that, I can't help you you are going to have to drive to the other store, the other store didn't get my mobile order either. Thankfully the manager on Maple Road isn't some unintelligent person and looked at my phone for me to see that it indeed was ordered for their store. Bottom line: this wasn't the first time I had issue with this female manager at the wixom road wixom mi wendys. This review is for the wixom road in wixom. (If I could review the one on maple road it would be 5 stars for each category. Because they try to fix any issues). I will NOT be going to the wendys on wixom road. And I will tell my friends and family to always go to the Maple road store. They know how to run a business. And if you can't tell I'm still angry because I just finally got home and had to bring in my melted ice cream bars. Because I didn't plan to have to go to 1 wendys then have to drive out of my way to get to another wendys just to get good service. Read moreI ordered two meals one with cheese one without cheese. I personally cannot eat cheese. After receiving my meal I always check for no cheese. I pulled the sandwich out the bag looking for no cheese. The sandwich I took out didn't appear to have any bacon so I knew it was my burger but it had cheese. I hand it back the the young lady at the window. She took it back and another lady slammed the window back yelling and telling me I was trying to "STEAL" another burger. She unwrap the burger in front of me pointing at the unwrap Sandwich, in the window, yelling at me saying you're trying to steal another sandwich. I was shocked at her attitude. The other employees stood around looking at her like she had a personal problem. If I was gonna take a sandwich, why wouldn't I say one sandwich is not in the bag. I gave them back the sandwich w/ Cheese. After being accused of stealing, I request a refund. She told me I could not have refund. She said, you ordered it you paid for it. It's yours. She slammed the window shut, and walked away. Another kind lady came to the window and started apologizing, however, she couldn't talk because the other girl was still yelling over her. She tried telling the other lady, who was horrible to go to the back. She backed off the window and continued yelling in front of customers in lobby calling me a lier, and said I was stealing. and would not listen to the kind co-worker at all. The kind lady felt so bad, she apologized over and over I could see it in her eyes. The kind lady was so embarrassed. I told her it's OK. I actually felt bad for her having to work with the out of control co worker. The lady gave me my refund and the Lady was still yelling standing in the background saying untrue things about me stealing. I am very upset and can't believe how her behavior was in front of her co-workers whom seemed to be afraid to challenge her and most of all the kind Lady who tried to get her in controll as well. I pulled through the drive-through during lunch which is busy and I ordered a number for which on the menu I thought it said $7.99.(S’Awesome Burger combo)I told the woman that was taking the order that I had a two dollar off mobile coupon. When I got to the window she tried to tell me that my order was eight dollars and something. I politely said that that number was wrong and again that I had a two dollar coupon and she said that that’s what it was that I ordered a large size. I never ordered a large size and I just wanted the combo with a regular drink and fries and burger. That woman was OK but then she went and got another woman, taller gray haired white woman who appeared to be a manager.She had me pull up to the next window as the drive-through was backing up because it was quarter after 12 in the afternoon. Her and another woman who maybe was also a manager, tall black woman, proceeded to give me two more different totals for my combo. They proceeded to get loud with me and sticking the receipt for the total out the window in my face as if they couldn’t do the math correctly. First trying to tell me that the combo was $8.50 Without my coupon and then took the two dollars off and then told me it was $7.21with the coupon which I said was still was not correct. I ended up paying $5.60 because they just wanted to get me out of there and as the woman basically threw the bag out the window at me screamed “OK, BYE, have a good day!!!!!.(grey haired woman) I looked online when I left and the regular combo for what I ordered was actually $7.69. Add 6% sales tax and remove two dollars for my coupon and the total becomes $6.15. Most rude woman I have ever encountered in my life.
