Duluth Trading Company — Local services in Wixom

I discovered Duluth Trading Company online a few years ago and have been impressed by the quality and durability of their clothes ever since. When my wife needed new summer clothes she suggested we drive up to Wixom, MI and check out the Duluth Trading Company store. The drive from Jackson, MI was easy and the store is basically right off I-96 in a large shopping area. We also were fortunate to discover that the road work was over and we were able to make a left turn off the East bound exit ramp with no problem. The store is well maintained and very clean and well organized inside. The East side of the store is all men's clothing and the West side is all women's clothing. They have an excellent selection of their clothes and they also carry some pet supplies and handy items for camping and such. There's a small knife and hatchet display too with high quality items for sale. We learned that if they don't have your size of a piece of clothing in stock at the store, they'll order it for you and ship it to your home with free shipping. The best part of the whole experience were the sales people. Deb and Heather did a fantastic job helping my wife shop and they knew their stock very well. The changing rooms were clean and neat and there was a sign that said that the rooms were cleaned hourly and that they'd be happy to clean your room before you used it if you wished. Our entire experience at the store was top shelf and we'll definitely be shopping at Duluth Trading Company...

Followed the instructions on my return items slip with items to return to company, states in plain english bring this slip... we'll find your order and help you with your return. I did so.. Cashier was indignant, standoffish and unhelpful. Refused my return and gave excuses of how the computer doesnt show your purchase and asked if I was sure if I purchased them through Duluth Clothing despite the tags in the clothing the reciept in hand and info in computer, then began to overexplain the policy for returns as if I didnt understand the subcontext of " She was not going to allow me to return my items and make sure she kept Duluths money from walking out the door". Been buying clothes from them since 2015 Ive purchased over $1000 of clothing from them... Mail returns never been a problem...I send it off, they evaluate it, Duluth send me a credit or an exchange.. After that interaction in store, Today Is the last day I do business with them ... If that is the forward face you have representing the company, I will not further support you! What happen to honoring warranties and Good customer service? I guess people who believe their authority is more important than a customer's needs is the order of the day! Got All my reciepts and orders emails on phone, was in hand so I speak truth not just trying to trash...

Visit: Autumn '24. Location: near Wixom. Was shopping for large/tall size flannel shirts. There were two price points on similar shirts. Couldn't find the less expensive ones. Wrkr pointed them out. Was smaller selection. Wrkr suggested I could purchase what I wanted and have it shipped free. Did that, and shirts came very timely by UPS. Wrkrs were friendly and helpful. Restrooms clean. Free prkng. The quality and value of their products is very good. It's a good shopping choice for taller people.

Update: July '25 - Was looking mainly for short sleeve shirts. Their selection varies by fabric and design. Seemed majority are of untucked length. Normally wear lrg size in casual shirts. Luckily, I was wearing a standard, button down, Van Heusen brand, tuck-in length. Rec'd great help & suggestions from Terri? and Olivia? Compared my perfect fit Van Heusen, to several lrg and med size Duluth styles. Shlr width and length varied among styles vs nominal size. Bought both med and lrg size shirts. Could tuck-in the lrg size. Your body dimensions will determine which is best. I am 6'3", slim at 205 lbs. Dress sleeve is 34/35. Your results will vary. Rec'd excellent service from these slightly older skilled women wrkrs. Plus Duluth quality is very good. Enjoyed my...
