Culver’s — Restaurant in Wixom

Rarely eat beef but when my body gets that craving head to Culver’s for a delicious burger. Wixom location my favorite as they truly make my burger to order. I’m fussy and they bend over backwards to accommodate me. All employees are welcoming and helpful. Management is visible and interacts with customers. Clean relaxing atmosphere. Incredibly delicious burgers, chicken sandwiches, slaw and broccoli. Concrete mixers are out of this world…My family, friends love Culver’s.

Craving hit me again so returned for delicious burger combo. Emily D. was gracious, attentive and helpful. What a nice young lady definitely a plus for your business. Thank you.

My longtime and close friend (Carol) chose Culver’s for our last meal together as she will be moving to California. Our burgers were made to order and delicious. She ordered French fries and loved them. We both enjoyed our frozen sundae’s which were heavenly. Nice place to make and retain memories…Restaurant clean and service excellent. Thank you.

Entered restaurant and immediately greeted by several friendly Culver’s associates. All of whom are special people. Family vibe so welcoming and comforting. Made a special trip to Culver’s today for lunch. To my friends at Wixom Culver’s. You have no idea how much I appreciate all of you. Preston, Amanda, Venus and associates. You guys are awesome. Yesterday, got it in my head to try neighborhood Shake Shack. An eye opening mistake, for these reasons. Unsanitary kiosk instead of a friendly human being. Small size cheeseburger at other place, disappointing. Culver’s french fries are hot and crispy unlike other place. Able to customize my burger at Culver’s, not so at other place. Lunch cost less with larger portions at Culver’s compared to other place. Rate Culver’s a number ten, other place a number one. What was I thinking…Love, Love, Love Wixom Culver’s. Thank you…

I was very disappointed at my experience today. But our order was the first taken, the cash register wasn’t working I order wasn’t able to be processed. It just so happened during this situation. The manager Dawson arrived. My husband asked for help out however, he just kept walking. After three minutes the gentleman decided to switch computers after he rang in our order are food came with many errors. My husband that cheese curds instead of pretzel bite my grandmother and I received full chicken sandwiches with me ask for just chicken breast due to allergies. When I went up to the counter to let them know, of the errors. The lady putting the food together said, she would correct it bring us a chicken and our money for the refund, she did give me the pretzel bites from my husband. After waiting a few minutes and not receiving the chicken or the money I went back up to the counter. She gave me the money, but no chicken she said it would be right out. After another few minutes, I went back up to the counter and asked how much longer for the chicken. She then asked the cooks. The cooks responded with they did not know they needed to make more chicken. So at this point, I decided to stand at the counter and wait after another three minutes of waiting and watching lots of meals, be put together for other orders, I finally told them to forget about the chicken. I understand. Mistakes happen, but in this situation they were multiple I was not satisfied with how they handled it. I then also watched them use the same register to take orders. I did warn the customer and sure enough they had to switch to another machine and then decided to not use it for the rest of the night. There was many mistakes, and the manager did not seem very involved. If the manager was more present, he could have helped rectify and ensure that everything else for our order would have...

After speaking to the district manager, he went there to check himself, and claimed that nothing was amiss. So we went to eat the other night with a comp meal and everything was back in order.

We received a comp meal this evening to make things right with the previous order that was wrong, where they offered us half the amount of roast beef. You would think they would’ve got it right this time but no, we actually weighed the meat when we got home and it was 2 ounces. Supposed to be 4 ounces. I spoke to one of the owners sons for this location and he said he would look at retraining his employees. Again, they offered to comp our next meal. We don’t want to be negative we just would like to receive what we’re paying for. Eight dollars for a sandwich with half the meat is not right. According to corporate all franchise stores are supposed to be Weighing the portion of pot roast for 4 ounces. When I spoke to the son of this location, he said they don’t use a scale to weigh the meat. When I spoke to other stores that the same owner owns, they said they do weigh the meat. 2 ounces versus 4 ounces is a huge difference.

We have been several times and had excellent service with no problems, but there’s been a few times where there’s been inconsistency and the manager Alex at this location has always made it right. This last time our experience, and I will include pictures that we ordered the roast beef sandwich. The portion of pot roast is usually double the amount 4oz. But this time it felt way less we received in these two sandwiches. Sour dough bread and it wasn’t toasted properly. It was cold. Again, the manager Alex made this right. However, it’s disappointing when you get home and you’re ready to eat and it’s not what you ordered....
