Me and my family go to Longhorn quite often. Normally we have a great experience. However this was our first time going to this location(it was a convenient location to meet as my parents were heading to Ann Arbor and I had an Appt. In Novi) I ordered my favorite the Outlaw ribeye(medium rare)my parents both ordered burgers (mom:well done, dad medium well) we all ordered fries with cheese and bacon. The waitress was very inattentive(hardly saw her).the food took awhile to come out. I will say the ribeye was perfectly cooked but under seasoned(I didn't say anything about it because it was cooked well enough it still taste good. My moms burger cooked was medium at best. Dads was fine he asked the waitress for ketchup and it took forever for that to come to the table. All of the cheese fries were burnt some of the ones on my moms plate were black. She obviously sent her burger back. The manager came out apologized and said he was having a big plate of cheese fries made to replace the fries and he would have those out soon so my mom had something to eat while she waited for her burger. The cheese fries didn't come out till right before her burger which took 16 minutes from the time they took the old one to hit the table(my dad timed it) Her new burger was cooked well done but had a small bone in it( not the restaurants fault but a supplier issue) she didn't finish it and the waitress brought the bill stating "sorry we messed up you'll have to come back and we'll get it right next time" there was not even a discount on the bill after such a horrible experience. My dad then asked to talk to the manager again and he came out and said he'd take the burger off the meal he also gave us an additional 25%off discount. Overall it was the worst Longhorn Steakhouse I've been to and I have no intention of going back to that...
Read moreI went to longhorn steakhouse tonight with my family for a birthday dinner for my daughter and it was a total disaster. The server’s name was Maria . She was a horrible server and on top of that the rest of the night went downhill. Our food took an hour or more to arrive. The server was not consistent on refilling our drinks she was missing in action most of the night. We had a spill occur and my family had to go to the bathrooms to get paper towels to dry the spills off. She lied to us and said our food would be out soon and it never came. I asked to speak to a manager and his name was Michael. He apologized and said he would check to see what the status of the food coming out would be and it still took a long time to come out. I asked to speak to a different manager and I was told her name was Erin by the other server who took over. She came to us and I explained what happened she apologized and said the cooks were running behind and I let her know it was an hour or more longer she said she would pull the tickets and check and get back to me after the food was delivered to us. She said she would discount the bill as well . The food still took a while we were ready to leave and just pay for the starters and beverages. The food came out after that and she never came back to the table. She had another waiter Jared bring out the food along with other people. Very unprofessional and lied about coming back to us. We will never come back to this location and I am gonna call corporate my bill was discounted $38.00 which she thought she did a favor to me and we still spent $163.00 before tips. Was a horrible experience with a toddler that was frustrated and barely ate any of his food because he got tired...

Service was the silent hero of the night. The staff, with their genuine smiles and eagerness to assist, created an atmosphere of warmth and efficiency. Their recommendations were spot-on, and their attentiveness ensured that my dining experience was seamless.
While the beer selection did not boast an extensive range, it was a minor hiccup in an otherwise flawless evening. The limited choices were well-curated, ensuring that quality trumped quantity.
