Royal Momo & Krispy Krunchy Chicken — Restaurant in Woburn

Normally I don't make reviews but I am so disappointed by the quality of the food that I made this. The Krispy Krunchy Chicken menu is actually alright but this time I ordered from Royal Momo menu and I'm just disappointed. I ordered delivery via uber eats and I couldn't rate this restaurant on the app so I'm rating it here.

I ordered the Chicken Fried Rice and Non-Veg Royal Combo because these were the two most liked items on the menu. I have no idea how these two are the most liked on the Uber Eats app. The chicken fried rice was not good. I've never thrown away chicken fried rice from any restaurant before but I only ate a few spoonfuls before I threw it away. I've ordered food from many different places over the last 4 years and this is the first time I actually threw away food. Any time a restaurant offers fried rice I order it as a test of how good the food is and this is the worst fried rice I've ever had from a restaurant. There was hardly any chicken, the texture of the vegetables was not pleasant in my mouth. I am not a fan of the flavoring. I probably would've just eaten the whole thing it if it was more bland considering I spent 12 bucks on this but I disliked the taste so much I just threw it away. I've had frozen fried rice that tastes much better than this. If your food is worse than frozen food I'd honestly rethink offering this item on the menu. Please change the recipe or remove it from the menu. I wouldn't have made this review if I just bought the combo item but the fried rice was just so bad I actually took time out of my day to leave a review so no other poor soul buys this item.

The Non-Veg Royal combo is just okay. The momo is decent. The filling was nice and meaty and the flavor was mild but acceptable. I probably wouldn't order it again but it was much much better than the chicken fried rice. The tenders was the best part, the chicken was nicely flavored, tender, and juicy. The outer coating was nice and crunchy. The chowmin is... okay. The texture of the noodle is okay, but the flavor is disappointing. It had pretty decent sized chicken chunks so credit where it is due but I didn't end up finishing the chowmin either and threw that out as well. So the best part of this combo was the chicken tenders which honestly is such a weird addition to the food combination but I'm glad I was able to enjoy something from this restaurant. The soda can was nice and cold when I got my food delivered so props for that. I've ordered from other places where the soda was lukewarm so this was a nice addition to the meal. There's no option to select the soda on the Uber Eats app but I got Pepsi so no complaints there.

Tonight we decided to try this place. It's less than a mile from my house, and I was excited for something different that's so close. I walked in to order, and most of the menu is cooked and under heat lights right when you walk in. I asked the person behind the counter if it was fresh, and he told me it all just came out 5 minutes ago. I took his word for it, and placed and order for an 8 piece white chicken, a few sides and ice cream. It was all rung up, and the ice cream had still not been scooped. She bagged it up and I asked her for cones to go. Just 2 regular sugar cones. She told me no, and it was an added fee. We go out for a lot of ice cream, and never have I had to pay extra because I didn't put the ice cream on the cone. I had to drive home....it was clear that I was annoyed, and she did not care. I'm sorry, but you just opened, you are trying to impress customers, and you aren't giving small cones with ice cream? Not big waffle cones...just regular cones. I got home, annoyed by the customer service, but was interested in the food. Chicken-4 wings, 4 breasts. Wings, cold...very cold. Breasts were warm, but far from hot. NOT 5 minutes “fresh”

Waffle fries--well, first of all all their pictures on their marketing show regular fries...even the screens inside the store show regular fries. They do not have regular fries. I don't really like waffle fries, but opted to try them. Cold, dead cold, and chewy. At this point my blood is boiling...I threw them away. The Mac n cheese is bland. At the end of my dinner, all I was pleased with were the biscuit and the damn can of Mt Dew. My wife felt the same. I've spent 35 dollars...for cold chicken, cold fries, bad Mac n cheese, and no freaking ice cream cones.

I'm sure the ice cream will be fine...it's made by Richardson's...

If you are in the mood for a nice can of soda go check them out. I'll never ever go back, and will tell everyone i know the same...

Sorry...shouldn't have told me everything was "fresh" within 5 minutes. That was a complete lie. And come on....a cone?...

A bold statement... this place really does have "THE BEST" chicken fingers I have ever had..and I have had many a chicken finger. Moist, yet crispy and cruncy. Go figure. The order consisted of almost everything on the menu except for the seafood. Everything was spot on. Enjoy !! P.s when ordering the chicken fingers always order one size up from the size you want you can make an awesome sandwich later on . They use the actual boneless finger part of the breast that piece that's attached on the side the actual chicken finger just like Ronnie's on Salem Street, all the chicken they cook and sell is never Frozen. I repeat the chicken they cook is never Frozen!!!! It makes a world of difference, I wouldn't think it would make that big of a deal but it is an absolute different world my friend they have incredible meal deal selections not to mention a large chicken finger is 20 pieces and it's probably enough for five people that are dying fot chicken fingers. Get two loaves of fresh French bread from market basket and some of those chicken fingers and you can make the most incredible sandwiches ever get some bacon get some ham make some chicken cordon bleu make some chicken BLTs so fresh lettuce some fresh tomatoes some mayonnaise cook up some peppers and onions throw those in there I'm telling you the possibilities are absolutely endless and every single sandwich you make with hid and 8.5 or above no lie 100% out of this...
