Ok now I’m seriously PO’d. One of your baristas just intentionally scalded my mouth drinking a Starbucks Cappuccino. A little over an hour ago I walked in the Commerce Way location in Woburn MA where the barista made my cappuccino scalding hot on purpose knowing it would burn my mouth. All for complaining that I was standing there waiting 20mins to make. Honestly I get this same thing nearly everyday at the very busy Cummings Park location. They know my order already which is an extra extra dry 5shot blonde cappuccino. Never does it take that long even with just 2 people and when it’s super super busy. And never have I had my mouth scalded there. She saw me standing there for 20 minutes watching her make everyone’s drinks but mine. Finally I said something. And she says yes I’m making it right now there’s only 2 of us here as you can see all condescending. That’s all she kept saying as you can see there’s only 2 of us, there’s only 2 of us here. I’m thinking to myself yes I can count. And even with 2 people working, I’m not pushy, I’m not a jerk, I get it. However there was nobody in line ahead of me, other than the drive-thru of course because we now cater to lazy people who take walking for granted. She can make any excuses she wants. I walked in, there was nobody in line, nobody. There’s no way all those orders she made before mine in that 20mins of standing me there had come in before I had walked in and ordered. It was clear that they were paying all their attention on the drive thru and mobile orders. Then scalds the people who actually walk in? She overly steamed the milk in my cappuccino which I always order extra extra dry and should not have had milk in there at all. It should have been espresso and foam. My first sip burnt my mouth and it burned as it was going down my esophagus and chest. I have issues with my esophagus. I’m going to make a formal complaint about this because I know this was done intentionally. And this is just not okay. I spend so much money at Starbucks it’s disgusting. This is what I get for it? And for those of you who don’t know the difference between a cappuccino and a latte, a latte has espresso and steamed milk with little to no foam, a cappuccino is supposed to made with more foam and little to no milk. Hence the extra extra dry request, which is basically just the espresso and foam. Which is how I order it. When I finally got it, I knew immediately it was made wrong but she was so rude and I wasn’t about to wait another 20minutes for her to make another one. However I was not yet aware how scalding it was. Then I asked for a raw sugar and she ignored me. She intentionally made it wrong and intentionally made sure it was scalding. My mouth is burnt and now have pain in my chest. All for asking where my order was. I’m...
Read moreI’ve recently moved into the area from out of state (across deserts, lakes, rivers, and mountains, you get my point), and was glad to see there was a location across the street from me. However, despite the multiple chances I’ve given this location because of the very short commute from me, is perhaps the worst Starbucks I’ve been to. They recently changed their matcha powder that is now unsweetened, so you can customize your sweetness. Easy, I just need to ask them to add a few pumps of classic in order to achieve the original matcha taste. I ordered the matcha asking for clarification that the matcha is no longer sweetened. She responded that the matcha had always been sweet and it has not been changed. That confused me, so I instead asked for one pump of classic just in case it hasn’t been changed. I received my drink and it tastes very plain knowing they did not put a lick of classic. Inconveniently I had to walk into the store to have it sweetened, (that was the whole point of me going through drive-thru, so I wouldn’t have to go into the store 🤦🏻♀️). Plus, they cheap you out by filling your cup half way and the rest foam. I’ve given them a couple more chances on the matcha and it still comes made incorrectly.
On another occasion, I ordered a medicine ball which should have included both the Jade Citrus Mint Green Tea as well as the Peach Tranquility Herbal Tea. However, I received a medicine ball with only a Chamomile Mint Blossom. Granted, if she told me they were out of both teas I would have understood and ordered something else, but she didn’t. The baristas I’ve encountered at this location appears to not know how to make their drinks correctly, and despite the multiple times I’ve given this location a chance because of the short commute has pushed me to just make my worth while journey to another location.
*I gave it a two star for the one barista that made my one time drink...
Read moreThe person in drive through was super upset we ordered a mobile order? We put a mobile order in (For a shaken expresso and a strawberry Acai) because I have social anxiety and im literally autistic so I'm not a fan of social situations, so when we get to the drive through we tell them we have a mobile order and they said "you mean the one you put through literally like a minute ago" and we were kinda confused but we said yeah and they said "well you literally put it through a minute ago so it's not gonna be ready for a while" and we said okay, we don't mind waiting" so we pull up to the window, fully prepared to loop around if we need to and someone pulls up behind us so they open the window and say "yeah like I said, your orders gunna be a bit" so we asked "okay do you want us to loop around?" And they said yeah so we did. By the time we get back to the window our drinks are done and the person hands us our drinks and says "so like what was the point of ordering a mobile order if you were just going to come through the drive through" and then closes the window before we can respond. Seems pretty ablelist if you ask me. We ordered through the mobile app because of my autism and social anxiety but what if I had a stutter or I was deaf? Maybe don't have order ahead available if you don't like it? As someone who works in the food service industry super unprofessional. It's not like we were rude or anything, we understood it was...
