VCG Bakery — Restaurant in Woodbridge Township

I’ve been to this store twice and I can say that the workers here are very kind and attentive. Every time they pack my deserts and food they are very gentle and bag them separately. It makes me feel happy to know they put so much care.

The price is decent and reasonable.

My personal favorites are the empanadas, they are crispy (crocante), perfectly seasoned and it reminds me so much of the way Paraguayans make oven baked empanadas. Just awesome.

I also love the pan de yuca. It is an awesome form of bread. It feels cheesy, warm, and just so tasty and flavorful. It is a must try!

The store front is also very clean and neat. Overall a pleasant vibe. I do recommend this place.

Stood there for a good 20 minutes before I was actually acknowledged and was able to give my order. I ordered 3 regular flan, 3 3 coconut flan, 3 bread pudding and 3 of the coconut bars. The flavor of everything was great but not worth the wait of just standing there while she walked around for 20 minutes. Longing for pastry only mom could make or only get from the motherland? VCG bakery has it from Spanish flan to Irish soda bread made with mom’s love! The Cuban sandwich made traditional with marinated pernil shredded with no fat, melted Swiss cheese, ham, pickles, in perfectly toasted bread will transcend to the island!
