Carvel — Restaurant in Woodbridge Township

I’f I could leave 0 stars I would on Mother’s Day my pregnant wife went into buy a cake and Amy told my wife to get to the back of the line of people who are buy ice cream cones a large portion of the people who walked in after her no less she was buying a cake did not need anything written on cake but it took more time to explain this then it would been to ring up and get people out of the store faster and not be congested. So not only my wife but another customer as well walked out for the disrespect she had for not 1 but 2 mothers on Mother’s Day and when I called to talk with the manager the same girl happened to pick up the phone and disrespected me said o well u can email management if u don’t like it and by the way happy Mother’s Day and hung up with her smug attitude if this is the way the workers treat there customers and no less treat a pregnant mother with a 2 year old in her arms and another mother. On Mother’s Day and neither my wife or the other lady cut anyone but to talk and treat them this way and then tell them to go to the back of line because they didn’t know who was first or not even the people waiting in line said just ring them up but she said no it’s store policy! Literally multiple people walked out including my wife for how this employee treated moms on Mother’s Day . I never write goggle reviews but this needed to be brought to peoples attention the management here needs to either have a discussion on how to treat clients 2 have a better system to organize a line when people walk in like take a number but… to top it off when I called the store to ask for the managers name they refused to give me there name and hung up ! This establishment needs to address a major employee problem and not have there employees disrespected me and my wife hang up and acted like complete disrespectful children I never in my life thought an establishment could treat customers in such a way let alone moms on Mother’s Day … it’s sad that some of the younger generation kids think it’s ok to treat or talk to anyone this way ! No respect I truly hope the manager or owner fixes this because I truly hope no one else that goes there will be treated the way my wife and this other lady...

the owner of this location is very rude for the past few weeks ive been printing edible image sheets here which they have a 24hour notice before you can pick up usually the staff are not good with dimensions and things when it come to printing the pictures so my orders dont get printed until i come in the store however i finally was able to meet the owner who was more advance at this stuff he seemed to be very startled that i am a women of color he was really rude to me he said he was super busy refused to print my pictures and barely gave me a chance to speak and he also didnt care for my business which sucks because had i known this owner was going to be difficult i would have came up with a 2nd solution...

I first contacted this Carvel by phone inquiring about a birthday cake. The young woman, Mimi, was pleasant and helpful. She took the time to explain different options available for custom cakes. She suggested I come in, which I did, and she helped me order from a book they have where edible images can be put on an ice cream cake. They have a lot to choose from including Disney characters, football teams, and other cute and fun images. They only needed about one day prior to have this ready. The shop was clean, they have parking in the front, and even though it's winter and cold out right now, it's always a good time...
