CHANDNI CHOWK — Restaurant in Woodbridge Township

I was hesitant at first to go to this food plaza after looking at the reviews, but I really wanted to experience the street-style food. I ordered from a chinese restaurant in the same plaza, but then I saw how this punjabi restaurant was preparing the meals live so I got tempted and thought of giving it a try. I hate how other places put cream and color just to make the food appealing so I asked the owner who was very kind and he suggested Kadhai paneer with tandoori roti. It was the BEST kadhai paneer I ever had in the US. Paneer itself was super soft and fresh. Overall it was spicy but the balance of other spices was just perfect. I have been to so many Indian restaurants just to find that one good place where I could get satisfying and clean Indian food. I am definitely going back to try other dishes. Hope nothing changes until...

Avoid .......I ordered Uber eats today the guy called me and said he can’t give green chutney with my order that will be extra. I told him to just cancel the order and he started to talk back to me and said a few nasty things . Iv been ordering from this restaurant since they first opened slowly and slowly there service started to become horrible and so has the quality of the food . The owner should get better employees and should address this issue . I will no longer be ordering from this restaurant again .

Avoid this place all al cost they want to charge you for onions and green chutney and be nasty to customers...

After reading the reviews also I just tried the food for the first time and really got to know why it has so low ratings because the curry which I have ordered was tasty but I did not know they don’t peel out the sticker of peppers ie capsicum,???i was so disappointed to know I am eating even the sticker along with curry How unhealthy preparation of food Please check your food before eating if you want to try Will never go to Chandni chowk because its waste of money and onion kulcha was so bad that I literally could not eat I have tried almost all food restaurants in nj but this one is so unhygienic and...
