If you are searching for authentic pav or dinner rolls to complement your Indian dishes like pav bhaji or vada pav, this bakery is an excellent choice. The pav they make is reminiscent of the traditional Indian style, soft and fluffy, perfect for soaking up the flavors of spicy bhaji or holding together a savory vada. The texture and taste capture the essence of the pav you'd find in Mumbai street food stalls, making it a great addition to any homemade Indian meal.
In addition to their remarkable pav, the bakery offers a selection of pastries. I sampled the Black Forest pastry, and it was decent. While it may not rival the finest patisseries, it provides a satisfactory dessert option, with layers of chocolate and cherries that deliver a sweet finish. However, there is room for improvement with their puffs. They lack the crispiness and flakiness that one would expect, suggesting that some refinement in their preparation could elevate the quality significantly.
Beyond pastries and puffs, the bakery also stocks a variety of Indian-style cookies. Although I haven’t had the chance to try them yet, they appear appetizing and are reasonably priced. These cookies could be a delightful accompaniment to a cup of tea or coffee, offering a taste of traditional Indian flavors.
Overall, this bakery is a solid choice for those seeking traditional Indian pav and a variety of other baked goods. With some improvements, particularly to their puffs, it could become a go-to spot for all your...

I liked the pastries and biscuits there so I ordered an eggless cake for my daughter's first birthday party. Overall fondant look amd design was ok. Fondant was breaking from couple of places already when I picked up the cake. When I raise that issue I got told by the instore baker to take it or leave it, but owner was more understanding when I highlighted the faults over the phone. To my surprise the fondant survived the outdoor heat of humid day for an hour before starting to crack.
By the time it was cake cutting time I had completely forgotton my arguments and disappointment with the instore baker but it came rushing back as cake from inside turned out to be really soggy. It was not like any eggless pastries I have had in past. It was very mussy and there was little soury after taste as if batter had curdled.
I though my own eggless cake which doesn't rise much with applesauce and soda as egg replacer would done much better job. We ordered cake with 24 portion for a party for 40 people and still left over with nearly 1/3 of cake.
I am only giving it one star as both owners were very polite and understanding, which you don't see often in Indian business owners.
But over all it was a huge...
Read moreOn my most shocking experience of my life - I brought these pastries from “COUNTRY OVEN” at Oak tree road on Saturday Jan 29th for my Mom’s birthday. When I opened up box I felt faul smell but I dare to taste it and immediately threw it out I figured those all pastries had fungus/rotten and clearly visible with black marks. This is not first time I experience I recalled few months back I brought custom ordered Black Forest cake which had stinking taste and my most of the family member got fever for few days, we had doubt but ignored thinking that we should give them a chance. But this time it is not forgiven as I caught them up white hand, all in my surprised I went to their store and talk to their employees no one expressed grief or dare to listen to me instead today their ‘owner’ he call him self ‘Jack’ called me and became so rude. Instead of any apologies or take this matter seriously he told me to do whatever you can.
I firmly request to people of NJ and neighbors/friends to be careful with this and kind of businesses before considering buying anything from them who cutting corners selling foods that are not only bad to consume but can be harmful to you or your beloved one in this health...
