Gulberg Xpress — Restaurant in Woodbridge Township

Just had my first Chicken kabab Kathi Roll, today evening. This is best ever I had on US soil till date, yes I mean it as I belong to Kolkata the birth place of staple food Road side Roll corners. Tried dozens across Nj and even NYC- they r just horrible.

This is the closest ever I experienced. Relived my nostalgic taste buds, Amazing flavour and just perfect. Freshly prepared paratha. Grilled chicken was soft, full of flavour, smoked just right, and amazing taste. I’ll keep coming back, couldn’t stop with my first one- had to order 4 more to carry home for my family, they all said one thing with their first bit- This is absolutely Kolkata Roll- “ Amazing “. Keep it up. will try at Gulberg Bistor- franklin park soon - hope they meet the same expectations as now the bar is set too high. We need one more Gulberg Express in Montgomery NJ- Princeton just serving Kathi Rolls. Best wishes....

I had dinner with friends a few days ago, and we were all in the mood for something rich, flavorful, and truly desi. We decided to try this place and ordered Lahori Chana, Chicken Tikka, Chicken Karahi, and of course, plenty of fresh Naan to go with it.

I must say, each bite reminded me of Pakistan — especially their chana. Perfectly spiced, soft yet not mushy, and packed with that deep, slow-cooked flavor you only get from traditional home-style cooking. The Chicken Karahi was another standout — bold, aromatic, and sizzling hot, just like it should be. The Chicken Tikka had that smoky, chargrilled edge that hits you with flavor the moment it touches your tongue.

The naan was soft and pillowy, perfect for scooping up every last bit of gravy.

So I recently tried Gulberg Xpress and was blown away by the authentic flavors and delicious food; wasn’t expecting it to be that great haha! I tried chicken biryani, keema and aloo parathas, naans, and Lahori chanay. Every dish was fresh, perfectly seasoned, and full of rich taste. Biryani was just perfect like it should be.
