Tottenville Bagels Avenel Nj — Restaurant in Woodbridge Township

DO NOT COME HERE !!!! The customer service is terrible I been here three times and each time it’s been an issue. I called to place an order and asked do you have beef bacon and beef sausage. The lady who took my order told me yes so I processed to order a sandwich with beef sausage after ordering the lady tells me there’s no beef sausage. No problem, I told her to use beef bacon. I arrive 25 mins later to pick up my sandwich and I told the lady what I order she immediately turns around and takes off the bacon of the sandwich. And then told then cook in Spanish to make beef bacon ( as I didn’t understand Spanish) . I then asked the lady is my food done because I called in 25 mins ago and there was no one in the store. She told me it’s ready he just has to make bacon so it’s not ready. So I tell her to forget it because I’m on a time restriction and have to go to work hence why I called on the phone 25 mins before arriving. I then asked the lady for the managers name and number she told me she was the manager and refused to give me her name. Had high hopes for this place as you can’t have enough great bagel shops. The facility is decent and makes it easy to eat in if you want. What threw me off is there barely any bagels on display. Usually when you go into a bagel shop they have a large glass case displaying all their types of bagels. I had ordered 3 breakfast sandwiches. Asked for 1 Taylor Ham, Egg & cheese and 2 bacon, egg 8 cheese on hard rolls. Super standard for central/north Jersey. The gentleman taking my order looked at me confused. I had to make clear what Taylor ham was - I said oh yeah pork roll. Then he tells me they don’t have any rolls and bagels only. Very odd. You would think they would have rolls for sandwiches. I ordered the sandwiches ok plain bagels. Took about 15mins which seemed long since there was only one person in front of me. The sandwiches weren’t great - barely any meat in them and the bacon was soggy/fatty. Should’ve been cooked more. The pork roll was ok but it was only one slice. Wish this place and hope they do well but not sure if I will go back with bagel supreme right...

I have been craving a good breakfast bagel and i’m glad i finally found a place to get it! My first time coming in was a few days ago for myself before going into work and it was so good. By the time i went home and told my family about it, they wanted me to go back and get them one, and again the next day get more. It started one day with just a simple breakfast bagel, day 2 was two bagels and a fruit yogurt and juice and by day 3 had me leaving with three bagels, three coffees and two muffins! Love how it’s right down the street from my house so if i’m ever in a rush for work but I'm hungry i can grab something quick! Thank you so much!
