Woodbridge Deli & Catering — Restaurant in Woodbridge Township

I'd like to give this place No Stars. Today I tried to place an order with a group and I ordered the 2 Egg with meat Platter for 5.95 but because I have cholesterol issues, i asked for Egg Whites. They said they dont do it even though they make egg white sandwiches for 4.95. So I asked them to make the eggs an egg white omelette with turkey bacon (meat) and mushrooms, so they charged me 9.95 for the omelette and 6.95 for the bacon. I called back asking why was the cost so high. They proceeded to explain, and nothing they said justified the price. So I told the young lady that I didn't want to pay that much when all I really wanted was 2 egg whites and bacon in the first place. She put the owner on the phone and he owner Im guessing her name was Nora. Nora started screaming at me, she said i was wasting her food and I was going to pay. She asked to speak to my supervisor and demanded that I pay. At this point I became very nervous and felt threatened. I felt that every one else's food was in jeopardy and the fact that she demanded to speak to my supervisor was concerning. I am feeling the need to report this threatening response to the authorities because she know where I work and I refuse to pay for something that cant be justified and now the threatening service. Im contacting my attorney...

Horrible horrible horrible....rude server and a cook/owner even more rude ...nasty food it was cold ...pancakes had a jello consistency you could literally turn the plate and they would start wobbling like crazy .. menu is set up to were your forced to pay more all I wanted was pancakes eggs with bacon the server said she's not going to allow this I have to charge you for 2 plates I said oh ok well just give me pancakes only food took forever ..server never came back to check on us so when the time came for us to leave she asked if I'd like a box I explained they were just no good and etc. She cut me off and rolled her eyes and said she'd get the cook the lady came out and said what was wrong with them I started to explain and she cut me off and said well this is how we do them we sell alot of these then said would you like plain pancakes I said no thank you because we had to get going she said ok everyone is entitled to their opinion and snatched the plate from in front of me and stomped away ...my husband finished all of his food but I personally will...

Food is good, but it’s definitely not a place in which the customer is always right. There were times when I needed the order to be altered, like instead of omelette style eggs, I needed them to be scrambled, but they came out omelette style anyway. Then there was a time in which I read an order straight from my phone, and then when my food came and certain things were missing, I was told that I did not say the things that were missing, and then had to pay for them when I had already paid for the meal. Now in that instance I can understand why I was charged, because she never charged me for the things that were missing, but in most other establishments that I go to, when they don’t give me what I asked for, usually I don’t have to pay. Either way, I’m not going to this establishment anymore because the fact that they do not operate under the guise of “the customer always being right” is something I’m not truly used to. Especially when I plead my case, and it’s not...
