Absolutely insane the wait times at this Starbucks over the course of more than ten times I have been here. That’s on me to keep coming back but coffee places tend to be limited in Woodburn. I really hope to have a less than 15 minute wait for a simple Flat White whenever I get the craving for one, but here I am again and it’s probably going to be 30 minutes, read that AGAIN: 30 minutes before I get handed my drink. What is going on at this place? This has been CONSISTENT for months of really horrible wait times for coffee. Is it a management problem not being able to accurately and consistently staff workers for “rush hours”? Like come on, you’re Starbucks, not some indie shop in Portland. Holy.
Upate: took 15 minutes just to order through the drive through.
Secondly: I have also gone inside to order when the lines have been long in the drive thru and there’s absolutely no difference. Probably worse, last time I ordered inside I was made to wait unnecessarily for my drink until I pointed out it was done. So that’s why I’m avoiding the inside cause at least I’m waiting to get it handed to me and not it sitting on the counter.
Like I understand being short staffed but then that’s the fault of management for not doing anything about it. Every single barista I have interacted with is super nice, but these wait times are absolutely killer. Management, please help your employees out.
This is the last time I’m ever coming to this place. Last update: 25+ minutes to...

I’ve been a fan of the Vanilla Sweet Cream Nitro Cold Brew for a while now—it’s a great drink when it’s made right. Strong flavor, low calories, no ice, just a splash of vanilla sweet cream. Simple, right?
Unfortunately, the Woodburn location has been pretty hit or miss lately. I order the same drink every time, and I’d say only about half the time it’s made correctly. Sometimes it comes out perfect—no ice, just a bit of cream, smooth and bold like it’s supposed to be. Other times, it’s like they just guess. I’ve gotten it with a quarter of the cup full of cream, ice tossed in for no reason, or worse… not even sure it was nitro cold brew today.
At least when it’s made wrong, I can complain to my wife in the car—but honestly, I’m too passive-aggressive to hand it back at the counter. So I just drive off disappointed with my mystery beverage. The drink is amazing when it’s made according to the menu (seriously, it only has one add-on), and I still recommend it to people. But at this point, ordering it at this location feels more like gambling. If I wanted to roll the dice, I’d just play a video poker machine and mash the buttons blindfolded.
Come on, Starbucks—consistency shouldn’t...
Read moreIf you have a mobile order just know that there is a sign outside the door on the sidewalk that says to wait here. It was confusing. There were 2 customers waiting out side like the sign said and when I walked up they were waiting for someone to tell them to come in. The windows are tinted heavily so it's difficult to see if anyone is motioning you in or not. The one gentleman had put his face up to the window and said I can see people in there working and so he continued to wait. He was first in line. I mentioned that they did have a counter right inside the door last time I was there and possibly it's still there and he could go inside if he sees there's no one else at the counter waiting. So he did and disappeared. Then when he came out he thanked me for mentioning that to him. The next customer went in then exited a side door so then I went in. The no longer have the counter inside the door and they are not coming out to allow you to come in. So just know you need to open the door and walk in. They have arrows on the floor directing you. I wonder with all the workers inside working why no one had seen people waiting outside and didn't come get them? Maybe they were motioning but no one can see...
