I wish I could in good conscience give this Panera a higher rating. We need more "healthy oriented" relatively fast food places to drive through or frequent. I want them to stay in business but worry when there is often no line or short line in the drive-through. However, they struggle to get my orders straight and this has been an ongoing problem. I should say they struggle to get their own menu items correct. Over the past few months I ordered the Flatbread Margherita pizza which consists of 4 items: crust, cheese, tomatoes and basil. The first time I got home to find zero basil. Too far to go back. Then on another visit for one of their salads with chicken, I discovered the chicken was missing! I have learned that if food prep accuracy is important, I have to sit in the strip mall parking lot so I can go back through the drive through to get what is missing. The last two visits were for a full size order of the strawberry poppyseed salad with 3 containers of the poppyseed dressing which comes separate. I discovered while hunkered down for my car picnic in the parking lot that there was ZERO not 3 poppyseed dressingd!!! After going back through the drive through to rectify the omission,, I was amazed to hear the news that they had actually run out of the dressing! No car had gone through after I got my order so they were out when I ordered! Instead of communicating, they let me go home with a dressing-less salad! I went home and saved the salad in my refrigerator to drive back the 20 mile round trip the next day to get the poppyseed dressing. Ugh. Never an apology, the staff really must lack customer service training and/or don't feel like this sloppy fulfillment matters...last time, I again ordered the Margherita pizza but first asked if they had the basil to put on it. They affirmed they did, but.. No big surprise, after finding a parking spot to dine with a teeny amount of shade, I opened the box to again find ZERO basil!!! It was hard to hold myself together. I drove through and the guy at the other end of the ordering mic said he could give me a container of basil to add. He educated me that in order to prevent burning, basil was added after the pizza was cooked..so twice, adding basil was too overwhelming a task for employees. Gheez. I used to have a restaurant and we would have bent over backwards to right a a wrong order or omission...free meal, free future meal, blah blah. I have gotten one sulky apology and one genuine one when I returned a day later for the 3 missing dressings. So if you like these items, stock up on basil, bring your own poppyseed dressing , and lots of patience....
Read moreWent to this location for the third time in the last six weeks with my sister….and again the dining room was closed. We usually leave and go somewhere else… but today we decided to go they the drive thru. We should not have to remember when choosing the pick two items that we have a choice of a side of apple , chips or bread nobody asked us so we forgot. Got to my home and they threw in the bags two pieces of hard dried out pieces of bread we had to saw it with a knife that cutting edge we could not tear it with our hands could not even bite through it. My sister ordered a sand and soup and did not want more bread.. we usually go to the Panera at Keizer station because they do not over bake their bread and their food is just better. I ordered soup and salad and it usually has plenty of chicken in it… it only had two pieces… I was furious! If I had been sitting inside the restaurant I would of asked for the manager. 11.00 for some romaine and 1 cup bric cheddar that was super runny it’s usually nice and thick… I am done with Panera at this location and I will not eat at restaurants that do not have a dining room open. I thru k they screw you over when you use the drive thru. THIS LOCATION SHOULD...
Read moreWe must have chosen the wrong day for a first time visit ever to Panera. We waited over 20 minutes for an order we placed through the kiosk. We were patiently waiting for over 10 minutes when the approached us to let us know they were out of the Honey Wheat Bread. Asked for country white instead and got sourdough. The steak tasted old and was very tough. No vegetables on mine except for spinach. Didn't find any mayo at all. No cheese either. We also had a Turkey BLT on focaccia and not much turkey, lots of veggies though. The onions were non existent on both sandwiches. Pictures of what they should look like are sure deceiving. We watched two of the waitresses talk among themselves and listened in amusement on how one didn't want to go and look for customers to give them their orders. We watched a customer bring back an order that was given to him as the wrong order. We watched the wrong order sit on the counter only to be given to the right customer. Don't think that order should have went out at all but oh well. It was enough to let us know we won't be back to this particular one. We were not impressed by the amount of money $22 for 2 sandwiches. Very expensive for what you get...
