Clean Plate Meal Prep — Restaurant in Woodbury Heights

I was so looking forward to trying this and heard great things but never received my food. Order was placed Weds before the Friday deadline. Web site stated I would receive my food between 10-5p that Sunday and if driver was late I would receive a communication from driver. Correct address and email was in the computer and I checked SPAM. Nothing. By 715p I typed an email. No responses to my mails. I know store closed on Sunday so when I did not get any response to emails or instant message, I spoke to someone named Cesar on Monday who told me they had a new driver that "because mostly everyone orders bulk meals and I ordered only 3 meals, the driver gave my 3 meals to someone else. " That did not help me when I needed them for the week. Cesar offered to get them to me today but no one was home thus my point to have them Sunday. Driver should have been properly oriented. I asked for a refund. Then I asked for a confirmation email and he seemed to give me an attitude. I mentioned I will be leaving negative review and he thought incident was "minor. Love their customizable bowls. I usually get the steak bowl. Every item is made fresh to order. The portions are perfect. You can always add more of the protein. I also get the balsamic vinegrette. I don't know how they make it, but they have a great recipe that is delicious. They also have a meal prep option where you can place an order that gets delivered/picked up. Sometimes, there are extras of their mealprep available in their refrigerator cases. I've bought them too before and they were amazing a well. Perfect choice and portions. I highly recommend the salmon bowl with jasmine rice. I discovered this place on tik tok and had to try it. The portion was amazing and super filling. I ended up adding shrimp last minute but I honestly think this place is a hidden gem. The only thing that was a little odd, (this is totally subjective), was it being in the same space as a gym. I personally didn’t like this concept, however, that doesn’t discredit how great this place is. I will definitely return if I am in Jersey.
