I go here every morning. The morning crew from the gas attendant guys to the coffee bar lady to the kitchen ladies and the register ladies are awesome.
Danielle, who makes the breakfast sandwiches, is the best ever!!!! I always go in, and she knows EXACTLY what I need. I drive over an hour to get to work as a teacher in Philadelphia, so it means a lot to have my favorite breakfast sandwich made to order for me. She also really keeps up with the grab and go warmers. She's always hustling, making sure everything is perfect for her customers.
The young lady with the brown hair who keeps the coffee area going is terrific. That coffee bar is the cleanest and most well stocked of any Wawa I've ever seen. I travel a lot with my son and by far she is the best!!!
The other people who are making everyone's food and drink in the morning are awesome as well. They are all friendly and take pride in their work. They are also very thorough. They should be the models for other Wawa stores to come and watch how it should be done.
The ladies at the registers are great, too! They know their regulars. When you walk up, they get your straw or anything else you need. They are very helpful when redeeming rewards or needing anything else. It means a lot when your needs and wants are known like that. They also make sure to remind you to scan your reward card. They also encourage others to get a reward card if they don't have one yet.
The gas guys are THE BEST!!!!! They know exactly who I am. They know ALL of their customers. They greet you with a smile and make sure you are taken care of. They are easy to identify, too. One has a long white beard, another ALWAYS wears shorts, no matter the weather, and the youngest of the crew wears glasses and a hat every day. There may be a fill-in attendant every once in a while, but for the most part, you'll see these three guys, and they are irreplaceable.
This crew deserves recognition and a raise. They should make the news!!!! It's very rare to see this kind of customer service these days.
In addition, the store is always clean and well stocked. The bathrooms are always clean as well.
I have encountered the male manager in the morning on a few occasions, and he, too, was very nice, helpful, and personable. I once had an issue with the fountain soda machine, and he came running out of the office to help. He didn't push the job onto a crew member. He got in there and fixed the issue himself.
In an area where there seems to be a Wawa every couple of blocks, this one, by far, is THE BEST.
THEY TRULY DESERVE SOME PLAQUE OR RECOGNITION.
In these times.... a little bonus wouldn't hurt. When you have employees like these employees.... you need to show your appreciation as an...
Read moreI recently visited the Wawa located on [856 mantua pike ] and had the pleasure of being assisted by an employee named Matthew. I must say, my experience was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I walked in, Matthew greeted me with a warm smile and made me feel welcomed. He was incredibly friendly and attentive, taking the time to listen to my order and making sure everything was just the way I wanted it. What impressed me the most about Matthew was his attention to detail. He took the time to explain the different options available and made recommendations based on my preferences. He even went the extra mile to ensure that my order was perfectly prepared, checking and double-checking everything before handing it over to me. Throughout my visit, Matthew maintained a positive and upbeat attitude, making the entire experience enjoyable. His professionalism and exceptional customer service skills truly stood out and made a lasting impression on me. Overall, I highly recommend this Wawa location and specifically, Matthew, to anyone looking for a great experience. His dedication to providing exceptional service is truly commendable and I look forward to my next visit. Thank you, Matthew, for...
Read moreThis Wawa is often heavily understaffed and does not enforce any social distancing or mask enforcement rules whatsoever. There are often long lines and few cashiers which oftenly walk away from the registers for reasons unknown. Alot of drug addicts and homeless people either hang around in or around the store heckling paying customers with no deterrence by the staff. I had a continuously bad interaction with a morning cashier the past couple months in which he increasingly complained about my personal purchases. My purchases being sparkling water and a few breakfast bars, he increasingly kept saying I was "wiping out their shelves of needed product and causing problems". I asked to speak to the manager about the situation but my request was refused. If this store wasn't conveniently located near me I would avoid going...
