Potbelly — Restaurant in Woodbury

Restaurant was VERY cold.

I went with my wife. I ordered a chicken salad sandwich (large size, or whatever that's called), and she just ordered some single meat basic sandwich like turket. She did not specify the size, assuming it would just be prepared as a "normal" or "regular" sized.

When we got to checkout, they were both super-sized. My wife said, "oh I didn't order a large sandwich, are you sure that one is mine?" (it was an honest question, they were busy so it could have been someone elses sandwich). The woman working the register said, "No, that is yours. You must have asked for a large..." and my wife said, "Oh... no, i didn't but that's ok..." and the cashier responded, "Well... we made you a large, so..." and my wife said, "ok, i'll just pay for it then." and the cashier said, "Ok! Great!"

It was a very odd interaction, and clearly te cashier did not want to own their mistake. Also, it's not like we were trying to scam potbelly's out of $2 by asking for large sandwiches and telling the cashier they were regulars - i mean come on!! They should have made the...

Normally, I wouldn't give a review like this but every time I go to this location I have an issue. I don't understand why the workers here get so annoyed by adding on a meat. This girl making my sandwich was visibly distraught by me asking to swap out a meat and I had to explain it 4 different ways. Then, she goes straight to the cashier to make sure they add on the meat like I'm trying to rob the place blind. The sandwich itself was fine and what I would expect, but every time I come to this location the interactions are pretty ridiculous. Especially considering one original size sandwich that is now $10 dollars and the size of a 6 inch sub. I understand that most companies have had to increase prices, but $30 dollars for 2 original size sandwiches and no drink or chips is absurd. Then, it asks for a tip. I'll save my money and the...

We ordered to go and found issues with our order after getting home to eat. We ordered a large mac & cheese--it was only half full. We ordered big turkey club but got a grilled chicken sandwich. Person @ toppings station asked if we ordered a grilled chicken--we said no, we ordered a turkey club--he paused then continued as if it were a turkey club sandwich. We paid for extra avocado--sandwich only had a very small slice of avocado. Checking the receipt when we got home, it was listed as a BG Grilled Chicken instead of the turkey club we ordered--and confirmed with the 2nd person, who was at the toppings station.

We are very disappointed with this experience and will not visit this...
