Our wait was approximately 20 minutes mid day on a Sunday, so it's not too bad for the start. We had an older lady as our waitress. She was very kind to us and knew how to upsell products, but that was a good thing. I had the scrambler and upgraded to the delicious banana nut pancakes! Loved them. Didn't even need syrup on them. It was like eating banana bread straight from the oven. The scrambler did come on a plate and was not as big as other similar restaurant(s) give you but was filling enough. Gravy on it was pretty good. Not canned like some places use. The butter was even good, but I need two next time. One had the yummy berry French toast. She loved them. So good. Other had an omelet with a biscuit. You have a choice with some dishes if you want toast, biscuit or pancakes. Will definitely be back. The only reason I gave a four star instead of a five was because as other visits, it was cold in there like the air was on. Felt good when it finally went off during our visit. Otherwise, it was a great visit with polite employees and delicious food.

This restaurant here....its simply the best. We stumbled upon this gem on the way in from an Anniversary weekend. When my new favourite waitress said, "wait, this your first time? You're in for a treat" Skepticism kicked in right away. Of the four of us dining, the biggest challenge was to see who could most accurately Express with groans and facial expressions convey how absolutely delicious the food was because we could not stop eating to do so verbally. There was no goodbye when we left but a genuine "I'll see you soon" 6 months later we drove the 40 minutes for breakfast and once seated my absolute favorite waitress (Regina) ironically was our waitress again and immediately saw us and her face lit up and said"oh you're back". Remembered us and that we ordered then(and again) the pineapple mimosas. I promise we'll be back again, the 40 minute drive is worth it

As far as Coney style restaurants go, Christoff's is above average. As an old retired army guy, I love my morning cup of joe. Their coffee is very good, and given the amount of customers drinking coffee at breakfast time, you are guaranteed fresh coffee with every top-off. We dined with a group of six, all having different fares, and every plate looked delicious. Everything tasted good, especially the ham and toast, and the eggs tasted real, which I can't say for a lot of breakfast plates at other Coneys. It's crowded, parking is tight, and service time was about average. We waited about 5 minutes for a table, so not too bad for a Sunday morning.

My husband and I have have been repeated customer's for approximately 20 plus years. Also, my parents, aunts, uncles, cousins. For the most part we have always been happy with a few exceptions to some rude waitresses throughout the years. On October 19, 2018, my husband and I met up with my parents to have dinner. Sometimes we have ate here twice in one week, but averaged once or twice a month. That evening was much different. You could almost feel the tension in the air as I watched the waitresses running around along with the owner's daughter bringing some customer's out their food. I am the one with the complaint here. I ordered the four piece broasted chicken dinner. For the sides I ordered soup and sweet potato fries. When I placed the order with our waitress I specifically asked her to make a note that I wanted the chicken breast- part of the four piece, cooked WELL DONE. I do not eat under cooked meat of any kind. When my dinner arrived, right from the start I could see the breast was not cooked to order. I returned the breast and asked that it be cooked longer. In the mean time, I ate my soup and fries. Approximately 15-20 minutes later- although, I was called a liar by the owner's daughter- my chicken was brought back to me. At that time it had been cut in half probably to fry it better- which I did not mind. By the time I received the chicken back, my husband and parents were done with their meals. I did at that time eat the chicken breast only as I do not eat dark meat either. You would think that the owner would have walked over to our table and apologized for the inconvenience since she is the one who said she cut into the breast to check if it were done the first time. Never seen the owner or the daughter. When your entree is not cooked or prepared to your satisfaction it ruins the entire visit. I sat there and told my husband that the least they could do for me would give us some money off or a free desert or for next visit or even an apology. My husband paid for the meal at the register and the girl asked how our meal was. My husband went on to say that it was not good and explained to the owner's daughter what had happened. She went on to say that she checked the breast the first time before it was served and had cut into it and it was well done. That was a lie! She never cut into the breast and furthermore who is she to determine if that was cooked to my satisfaction. I was eating it and not her. Then my husband went on to say that we had to wait 20 minutes and she called him a liar for a second time. Said we did not wait 20 minutes. Yes! I did wait 20 minutes! My husband indicated that we should get a percentage off or at least give us the chicken portion for free or a free desert or something and the owner's daughter said she was not giving us anything because your wife ate the chicken. Well, that is not the principle of it. The principle of it is you had an unsatisfied repeat customer that you should have taken care of. My husband told her that we wouldn't be back since she didnt do anything whatsoever to resolve this and she said, " okay." Like.... really??? She said she didn't care if we came back. Very poor, poor attitude coming from a business owner of a well-known restaurant and from repeated customer's of several years. Because of her rudeness, her poor reaction to an upset customer, her lack of skills to resolve a complaint, and her arrogance of a " I DON'T CARE" attitude are reasons to never go back. Not just my husband and I but my parents as well. Not to mention word of mouth- referrals. So, I hope you are HAPPY!!!! Your business lost hundreds and into the thousands ( coming years) of profit over not taking care of a minor $ 9.00 complaint that was the cooks fault to begin with for not cooking it to customer order!!!!! Oh... wait...did I say cook? Yes! Cooks and not chef's because a chef and owner of a 5-star restaurant would have taken care of their customer and not have allowed them to leave their restaurant...

I used to love this place. What happened? About 3 years ago, the food was AMAZING!! Now...NOT! They recently remodeled the inside and it looks beautiful but I believe they are trying to pay for the remodel with ridiculous prices. New menus look great but the prices.....not so much. I ordered a Greek salad with no olives, no peppers. I asked for extra beets. I seriously got 3 beet slices on my salad and was charged an additional 79 cents. The salad and dressing were horrible. I felt like I was eating a plate of water. It had no taste. By the time I got my pita bread, my salad was soggy. My son got a hot dog. The bun was hard as a rock on the ends. He asked for a slice of american cheese on the hot dog and was charged an additional 79 cents. For one slice of cheese? Seriously? The Greek rice was way too salty and they forgot the red sauce that goes on top. The onion rings were not cooked all the way through. We bit into one and batter squirted out from inside. We never received a bread basket but everyone else seemed to have one on their tables. This was a horrible visit! Anything that could go wrong, did! Unfortunately, this place used to be one of my favorites but I will not be returning. To spend over $40 for one adult and two kids on lunch is a bit much when the food was neither satisfying...
