Six Star Family Restaurant — Restaurant in Woodhaven

Sunday afternoon my brother, boyfriend and I decided to come and enjoy a meal, but we were greeted very rudely. The lady with glasses and a yellow shirt made it very clear it would be a 15-20 minute wait. We were more than happy to stay and wait for an available table. More people began to enter the restaurant when we decided to go back in to make sure we gave our name so we could be put on a waiting list. The lady in the yellow shirt came back very frustrated that we came back in. She continued to say, “it will be 15 minutes before we even get to you”... “ I don’t need you complaining in 15 minutes about not being seated”. We were in awe. Is there even a waiting list? The entire staff was fighting and treating customers with no integrity. We are regulars here at Six Star being that we live within walking distance. It was clear they were busy and we respected that with no concern of the wait. I’m not sure that we will be returning here anytime...

Food was way overpriced. Amount of food I got for what I chose was however a good deal. Let me explain. I went for coney fries and a pop that would have been close to if not more than 10 bucks sorry but no coney and fries should cost that much. Simple burger was 6 something but if you want fries and small coleslaw add another 3.25 plus your pop at around 2 something , way to much for what you would get. I took the ham dinner at 7 something which came with choices . I messed up and got fries that were burnt and the ketchup was like a can of tomatoes paste. But the meal was more than enough for the price. Waitstaff is on top of their game . Even the waitress that was not mine cleared the table and made sure all was good. If waitstaff ever left this business would fail. Advice lower prices be reasonable, no way is your burger and fries worth what your asking especially when in this area there are plenty of other...

The restaurant is nice and clean. Plenty of seating and parking. The staff was very attentive and friendly. I was there on a Monday at around 2:30 p.m. there were just a handful of patrons in there at the time I think maybe eight of us all together. I had a southern omelette it was good. An omelette with biscuits covered in gravy. It was the size of the plate. If I remember correctly it was 10 dollars and ninety-five cents. And I left a $3 tip. I was glad to see that breakfast was served anytime because it was 2:30 in the afternoon and I wanted breakfast. There is a large selection of food on the menu with daily specials. That Monday's special was a choice of goulash and something else that I cannot recall right now. Anyways I think a very nice place to eat and enjoy your meal. I definitely think it's worth...
