Hello - since I see it took them 3 years to respond let me go into more detail about my experience. My husband and I just moved to Washington State, this was our first outing in Woodinville. We had been trying to find a tasting room that was open after work hours and that allowed dogs. Since most don't have food, we had takeout and thought that was fine. I got a table outside, while my husband went inside to make sure - both dog and takeout were cool. The lady said 'sure' while taking his order two different types of red wine - probably like a cab sav and a tempranillo? She proceeds to SWIPE his card for payment after telling him, 'oh actually, we don't allow food here because we have an agreement with the restaurant next store, so please do not eat, and if you need food you need to get it from them'. Meanwhile, I'm hungry and mowing down my Korean corn dog, when this lady beelines it straight to me. My husband was in complete shock and hadn't even delivered the glasses of wine before this lady begins irate me with one of the most ridiculous commands ever 'ma'am PLEASE PUT THE CORN DOG DOWN'. I couldn't believe she was serious, I kept eating my corn dog because how bizarre and also we already paid for drinks and the corn dogs. She proceeds to explain to me the whole agreement while getting annoyed that I continued to eat. I cannot believe this lady, and she suggested we finish our glasses of wine and leave as soon as possible because we were getting them in 'trouble'. I don't waste alcohol and we took our sweet time before leaving. I avoid this winery at all wine events for the principal of how ridiculous the situation was. Absolutely even more wild it took them 3 years to respond to my comment- customer service is not a concern here. Don't waste your time, their wine is a dime a dozen and there are plenty of other tasting rooms that would be happy...
Read moreWe are members of Patterson. Long-time members. We visited the warehouse district location twice today (2/23/2025). The first time, they were crazy busy and had no place to sit. They sent us to another winery down the block. We poked our heads in there but decided to try a tasting room we'd never experienced. It was a marvelous experience in both tast and service. After that, we returned to Patterson. It was mostly empty at that point, and the staff were cleaning up a spill when we entered. We sat down at a high table near the TV with our minds set on what we wanted to drink and take home. In the end, we found ourselves totally ignored. We were never acknowledged at all, and two other parties of two were seated and served without any attention to us whatsoever. We kept talking ourselves into waiting longer, but eventually, we simply departed. We remin huge fans of the wine, and until today, we've always experienced superlative service. I know today was an exception rather than the rule, but we thought you should be aware. Friends at Patterson Cellars, please do better next time! 😃👍💜🍷 P,S. Writing this from Quiddity Wines, which we HIGHLY...
Read moreHave had their wines at other places and we are impressed by how good of their wine is; so we decided to check this place out. ambience: small but cosy. They have the seating inside ( behind the reception) with a tv for you to watch sports if you want or sit in the main reception to enjoy the sun thru the window. Both worked for us and we loved it. wines: their red wine is phenomenal. The price might be a bit more pricey compared with other cellars nearby but the quality worth it. service: staff was extremely friendly and very attentive. They noticed anytime we finished the tasting to pour the new one, even tho we was on the back side of the reception. Overall: we had a very good pleased experience here. Definitely will...
