Update December 15th. very disappointed as they do not have web ordering at this location. This means if your T-Mobile customer you can't get the free Popeye Chicken here. So if you plan on doing mobile ordering or delivery, don't bother coming here you can't. Dropped two stars because of that.
This location is finally open and we were able to go through the drive-thru and get our chicken sandwiches. they are also available for takeout as we saw people going in and out of the store as well. As I've been saying for years, this is a great location for a fast food restaurant. Considering the Boston Market in Clifton and the McDonald's up past pine Brook there are no fast food restaurants on the westbound side of 46. Our chicken sandwiches and fries were just as good as any Popeyes we've been to in the past, making this another worthwhile trip to a newly open store! We got to this location around 2:00 p.m. and it wasn't busy at all. Probably because people don't know they're open yet. The parking lot seems to be decent enough for a regular day all but maybe a little It's small when they have a rush on lunch hour or dinner. currently the entrance to the drive-thru is a bit weird If you're coming off of Route 46 you'll have to go down towards Best buy and make a u-turn to go around the cones to enter the drive-thru. I'm guessing they put up cones expecting a long line of traffic. In this setup the cars would line up alongside the stream. So download the app and get ready to order from this location on a regular basis if you work in the area.

Read moreShowed up 30 mins before closing time on 9/5/21, front door was closed but there was a line at the drive thru. Joined the line and saw the manager come out to count the cars. Finally got to intercom and the lights shut off. No announcement. Waited a few mins because I thought since the manager saw how many cars were in line, we'd be ok. Decided to go to the window and the employees ignored me. Because of my persistence, a girl finally came over and I asked for the manager. He eventually came and said "we're closed". Despite me pointing out that I saw him come out to count cars, his response? "We ran out of food. What do you want me to do?". I then proceeded to do his job for him and go and tell the cars behind us that they had no more food. Whatever happened to customer service? How about come out and let us know? Or let us know through the intercom instead of have people waiting for nothing. And who teaches their employees to ignore customers? I'm pretty sure Popeyes have a section of their training on customer service. These people I guess were not paying attention to that portion. I love Popeyes but this was such a disappointing experience that I am not sure...
Read moreHands down one of the best Popeyes ever. I dont understand for the subpar rating but my experience here was super positive. I ordered through my popeyes app but i sat in and eat. The manager in charge say hi even before we even ordered (which was surprising) - the staffs was friendly - not just friendly but really pleasant!! It is nice! When I got my food the manager thanked me by my name (must have got my name from the order on my app). The place is spotlessly clean. While I was eating here, their interaction with the walked in was very pleasant - patiently responding to question anf recommending people using the apps to get discount and promos. Pretty impressive. I have been to some awful Popeyes place that are dirty and they never get even a simple order right - but this is far from it - i got my order quickly and my chicken was fresh and succulent. I guess every Popeyes have a store culture and its dictated by manager in charge and the culture in this store was amazing, positive and efficient!! Hands down 5 stars in everything they are doing. Thank you Angel the Manager and Team!! Job well done!! Keep it up!
