I have given this Applebee's many chances but I will never come here again. This last time, it was around 6:30 on a Friday night and although we were seated right away, it was a good 15-20 minutes before a waitress arrived to even take our drink order. I had seen her earlier, refilling the tea for the table next to us and she even made eye contact with me but turned and walked away, not to return for another 10 minutes. We ordered the 2 appetizers for $9.99 and they came out pretty quickly, but were very small (not enough for 2 people). It was another 30 minutes before our entrees came out, and my Bourbon Street Chicken and Shrimp (which is supposed to be served on a sizzling skillet) was ice cold. The manager did take my entree off the bill because I complained, but if the waitress was doing her job and checking the window for customers' food, this wouldn't have happened. She had a habit of disappearing for long periods of time and of course, when we were ready to leave, she was nowhere to be found and we sat there for about 15 minutes waiting for our bill. When she finally saw us sitting there, she didn't even have the bill ready, so I gave her my credit card and said just go ahead and run it, since I knew it would be another 15 minutes if I had to wait for her to bring the bill back to our table. I have had bad experiences at this particular Applebee's before but this is is the worst one ever. I will not be returning, there are plenty of other restaurants in Woodland where the service and...
Read moreLong story short, I ordered dinner online and also checked into the curbside pickup online when I arrived. After waiting 20 min past the scheduled pick up time, I went inside saw three employees, all just kind of chilling, one on his phone and two chatting, I was told by a slightly irritated waitress that I was supposed to call the restaurant otherwise how are they supposed to know I was parked in the designated curbside pick up parking. I told her I checked in online like it said to. So i went back to my car to wait, and after a minute or two dude came out with my order and another curbside pickups order, he Apologize saying that their cameras were out so that's why they didn't know that we were parked in the curbside parking waiting for our order for so long. Both excuses were kind of lame because the curbside parking is right outside a wall of windows into the restaurant.
The food was decent for being only warm by the time we actually got it home and ate. But it's just really kind of annoying that not a single employee could have looked out the window and saw me parked in the curbside parking designated area for 20 minutes or the fact that they had an order that was placed for pickup and no one had the common sense to think that an order that was filled and sitting there for pickup at 8:00 that maybe they should look outside to see if anyone's there...
Read moreIts bad when you go into a restaurant and get sit down and your service is great and all by your servers. Then at the same time witness and hear my server and a few others getting verbally abused by their manager(a manager named laura or. Lacey). On top of all of that, my server goes back to the kitchen to get my desert, which is the last thing i ordered because i was about to leave, my server got verbally abused by multiple kitchen staff for just asking twice. I didnt even have to be in the back of the kitchen to hear who they were talking to because i heard my servers voice ask and then multiple kitchen staff yelling at my server. And then after that server left. Cursing and complaining so loudly about the servers, i couldve heard them on the patio, being so terrible just because they are doing there job and it makes them in the back work harder. This is completely abuse to these poor people who are the servers and i cant beleive that this goes on. I have been going to applebees across the country and this by far is the most abused and crappily treated restaurant out of all of them. I hope this helps everyone understand how much a server...
