I've been to this Home Depot in Woodland over a dozen times in the past 6 months and it hasn't been because I love them, but because they can't seem to get it right. The biggest issue I've had is over my washer and dryer I ordered with them. I had to refuse delivery on the first set because cord wasn't long enough, even though they assured me it would be. It then took Home Depot 2 months to refund me. When I gave them a second chance and re ordered my appliances with them for the second time, I spent two weeks calling, following up, tracking people down, following up again, tracking people down, not getting returned calls, fixing errors they made to finally get my order right. Example: They'd say they called the manufacturer to get a longer electrical cord only to find out them called and asked for a longer hose. Not the same thing. Every time I'd go in there in person, I'd get ignored, have to wait over 20 minutes for someone to talk to me, get short answers, and annoyed looks. The only reason this review isn't a 1-star is because after much pushing, the manager matched the price on my W/D to the same price I paid when I purchased it the first time, even though the price had gone up by $300 and because I finally got a very helpful person named Kelly who fixed everything for me!! I wish I had bought the W/D with Kelly from the get-go. Oh, and when I went to tell the manager that Kelly was amazing, he interrupted me and said "we don't get complaints here" before I could finish to tell him I wasn't complaining, I was giving a compliment. Worst Home Depot ever. I will never shop here again now that this W/D...
Read moreCustomer Service went out of their way for me yesterday when i needed to do a PayPal transaction without a card. I originally asked another clerk who was in Self Checkout if she could help me, and she just said " No you would have to have the PayPal card, sorry." I had no clue what i was doing, but i knew there was a way to do this transaction without my having to go home and place my order for pickup or delivery and return again to pick up the merchandise. And just before i walked out the door i happened to glance at the Customer Service sign at the other end of the store. I figured if there was any way to do this transaction without having to leave and come back, they would probably know at Customer Service. So i took a chance and lugged my items over to Customer Service. There were 3 associates working in Customer Service, and i was called over from the wait line in under a minute. I explained my situation and was assured from the start that although they werent positive they could work it out, that they would definitely try! They took the load off my shoulders and immediately relieved the stress which was already building up in my chest, and the headache that comes along with it... Their friendliness and willingness to help me solve this problem, which they are really not even required to help me with, as it is my own responsibility to know how to get to my money before i reach the store. The Customer Service associates were all very patient, friendly, and knowledgeable, and we had the transaction done and me on my way in less than 15 mins!! These are the kind of people i wish...
Read moreI was at the Woodland Home Depot on Sunday, 7/23/2023 @ 3:30 PM and found this store to be the worst managed Home Depot I have ever been in. Corporate management needs to take a long hard look at this store and make needed changes, such as firing the current management and employees that simply can't, or won't do their jobs. I had one item to pay for and the self service area was busy with a line of customers, but the cashier area had only one customer being helped, so I was second in line and thought I would be helped very soon, WRONG! The ONE and only cashier on duty on a busy weekend, could not figure out the numbers on the only item the customer was trying to purchase. She was entering numbers repeatedly in her computer as the customer line grew ever longer. A second cashier should have been called, but wasn't. She finally made some mistake that froze her computer. She then called over to a calorically challenged blond woman that seemed to be in charge of the self serve area, asking for help. The dyed blond haired woman couldn't unfreeze the computer and ended up, after way too long, taking the incompetent cashier to another computer. Now, after logging on to this computer, the incompetent cashier began to enter numbers again and again. Still, after all this waiting and the line backing up more and more, NO additional cashier was called. ???? I looked over at the PRO area as two employees there were talking and laughing, amusing themselves, but not working and a young woman looking bored, sitting at a computer with a blank screen. My time in line, before I was finally helped was,...
