Spring Garden Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in Woodland

I ordered online. I received text messages showing I ordered then one letting me know my order was ready. When I arrived I did not take my phone in with me so when I gave the woman my name she asked for my phone. No problem. I went to get it and showed her the messages that my order was ready with receipt of order. My order with my name on the receipt was sitting on the counter. She then asked for my ID. At this point I was confused because I had the proof of order in my phone which I showed her. She said that it wasn’t proof. Ok so then I said I’d like a refund because it had already been paid online and you are refusing to give me my order. She then proceeded to reach out and touch my phone. At this point I’m upset and she refused to give me a refund as did her coworker. She then proceeded to say to me that she did not know what I ordered. If she would have asked me initially I would have told her and saved so much hassle! I responded with what I ordered and her reply was “oh”. No apologies for her rude behavior. I have been going to Spring Garden since they opened unfortunately for their business I will never go back. My husband and I will make the trip to Tasty Kitchen in Davis for the best Chinese food and...

Look, the food is great. But if you want customer service, you aren't going to get it. There is a slight language barrier for starters, which isn't an issue. Apparently in the lady's culture, griping to your customers is customary. Me and my friend arrived at 8:30 on a Thursday and were greeted with, "Ah. Where were you all day. Im tired. I wanna go home. Why didn't you come in earlier?" mind you they close at 9. I had a roasted duck soup which melted away the sour experience I had, because the food is legit delicious.

Shoot forward to this past Sunday. Me and my friend watched an exasperated person yell and scream at the phone because neither party could understand each other. The guy said 6 and she repeated every other number but 6. She was visibly agitated and kept saying "ok thank you bye bye" repeatedly as she tried to hang up the phone. She came and checked on a family sitting next to us, and chimed in while asking how their food was "god. I'm so tired. Its a very long day."

This time the transaction went peaceful for us however, I didn't feel dejected and the food continues to be bomb. Dot. Com. 4 stars because the lady is honestly...

( Update) Around New Years Eve I went into this place to take home some dinner. It was just 15mins after the lunch special so I knew I'd have to pay a little more. So I went in and asked for the combination special thinking she was going to say something like $16 or $18 bucks! The lady looked me in my soul and said $29!! So I said are you serious and she said that's because I just missed the lunch special (in my mind I'm thinking even after the lunch special it isn't that high) So then I asked her how much is it if I just buy the sweet and sour chicken! She said $29 dollars again with any hesitation!!! Now I don't know if she said that because I'm a Melanted man or she thought I was a first timer. Which I wasn't I've been there plenty of times. I looked at her and walked smooth out. My business will remain at Treasure Dragon from now on. Because that day I bought the same combination plate after the lunch...
