This Starbucks is always courteous, provides quick service, and always gets the order right. I also like that the staff is friendly and helpful. Inside, the store it is clean and well kept, and everything is displayed professionally; outside, the grounds are clean, groomed, and well- maintained. The staff are knowledgeable about their drinks, foods, and policies. The one thing I did not like about the Starbucks was that I ordered a sandwich and was told that they had it in the store but when I got to the window I was told they didn't have it. I then had to re order a different sandwich. What, did they sell out between the time I ordered it and the time I got to the window? Look, either they made a mistake, didn't check before answering me, or it was there and somebody sold it to someone at the walk up. In any event that wasn't a very swell thing to do. No apologies just reorder your sandwich. Didn't much care for that. Period. Rnded up ordering something I didn't want. The other thing I dislike about Starbucks, all Starbucks, is that they are still using straws. Straws are a bane not only just society, but to the environment. Come on Starbucks, get with the program, get rid of straws. Or at least ask your customers if they would like a straw. At least, offer reusable straws. You can sell them and make money off of them. Don't you realize that the movement to get plastic out of the environment is big now!? Because of these two failings I knocked down one star from Starbucks ratings. All in all they are a fairly decent Starbucks and I like their food and their drinks. I would go back here...
Read moreI went to the location at 401 pioneer this morning, about 25 min past opening time and was completely ignored at the drive thru. When I drove to the window my presence wasn’t even acknowledged although both employees were just standing there. I called and one immediately answered. I asked why they aren’t open although their business is advertised as opening at 4? She said they are short staffed and aren’t open and doesn’t know when they will be. I asked for a number to corporate and she said “come get it” and hung up on me. Of course she didn’t answer at call back. I’ve been going to that Starbucks for the last 5 years at least 3-4 times a week and have NEVER experienced such disrespect and unprofessional service. It felt discriminatory and makes me wonder would I have recieved the same treatment if I were the same race as the employees? Shame on these employees and most importantly Starbucks for allowing people like that to represent their stores. I will be filing a formal corporate complaint and will spread the word so no one else is...
Read moreI Love Starbucks but this location was very busy. The person making the food, heating up, grabbing deli containers from the cold front box was doing great. Then I noticed, that: the garbage was overflowing with trash and spilling on the floor. The deli girl would put her bare hands INTO the garbage and push the garbage down. Then without washing her hands or putting on gloves, she continued to grab food and preparing it. There was a worker, young man with violet hair cutting in front of customers, who were looking in the fold case, and grab items from the cold case, without saying, excuse me or pardon me, just cut in front of them and grabbed. He did this Three times that I was standing there. There were too many workers running into each other, making order mistakes etc. There should be someone assigned for cleaning. One to keep the garbages thrown and floors swept and another to clean containers and wipe the counters. I was disappointed, Especially withe the food handler. Please...
