I wrote this couple weeks ago but I guess it got taken down? So I’ll rewrite it again.. my boyfriend waited 20 minutes around the corner were they make you wait for your food and the gentleman the comes out with the food was giving all the other people’s food being him so he asked if his food was done because he was waiting that long outside.. the guy was confused and ask has it been that long and my boyfriend pointed out the sticker that they put on your window and has the time stamped on there so he said he will go see and grab it. It’s been about 7 minutes before my boyfriend had to walk in and ask for it .. not only did they make him wait 30 minutes for his food! But our food was cold! Probably sitting on the counter they forgot it on.. the fries were so cold and were un edible.. you know when McDonald’s fries get cold they are basically garbage.. to top it off my burger tastes so bland and disgusting but didn’t think anything of it because I’ve been waiting for my food and I was hungry.. I first mistake was not looking at it until I was half way done before I flash my light on my burger and it was PINK! that’s what I was tasting… I felt sick to my stomach my burger was NOT cook thoroughly. Read moreCame in Sunday, 7-23-23 at a little after 9 P.M. As I pull a trailer, going through the drive thru is not possible. Waited almost 5 minutes before I was even acknowledged and had my order taken. Then had to wait almost 20 minutes for a simple Filet-O-Fish and a shake. The shake was put on the counter a few minutes after ordering like I was expected to drink my shake and then have the FOF separately and when I finally got the FOF the bun was barely steamed. There were people waiting for their orders when I got there and they informed me they had also been waiting a long time. Total time to receive my order was 21 minutes. This was while I watched 4-5 orders go out to parked cars and well over a dozen orders go out the drive thru window. This is not the first time I have been a walk in and basically been ignored and treated like second class to the drive thru. Supervisor came out and gave a whole string of excuses with just a flippant apology. Least they could of done for myself and the others who had to wait so long was offer a pie or maybe comp a few drinks. And this was after being locked out of the lobby at Richmond at 8:45 (lobby is supposed to be open until 10). If you don't want to treat the inside customers on the same footing as the drive thru, maybe you should get rid of the lobby entirely and just become a drive...
Read moreThings have really gone down hill at this location. The quality of food has changed and not for the better. I suspect it’s the same at other locations near here since it comes from common distributors. The priority here is the drive thru. So much so it’s easier to drive through here and then come in and dine on it. We are nearly forced to use the kiosks and when I did this last time in the morning, I chose the option to pay at a register and there was nobody available at the registers to pay. There were many people waiting to get their food and to pay, so after 15 minutes I quit and sat down with my friends to at least talk with them. Then later my order that I didn’t pay for came to my table. I just let it sit there and a few minutes later someone came by and told me I hadn’t paid yet and forced me to come up and pay. On top of all that the items I ordered were of poor quality. I won’t be coming back here. I’m sure it won’t matter as this is the only McDonalds in town and people will still come back and get poor quality food and poor service.
