Original House of Pizza — Restaurant in Woonsocket

I used to love this place and especially the chicken wings but the experience that I had last Friday still bothers me four days later so here is the review. I ordered a pizza and waffle fries through the website snd didn’t even mind paying the added website order fee and the credit card fee since it was raining out all day. When the delivery driver arrived she went to hand me her phone and said I had to sign for the order. I told her I was not touching her phone and already paid . She told me it wasn’t a big deal snd I I reminded her that there is a pandemic going on, that cell phones are notoriously germs, and that there was an ominous compromised person in the house. She would not leave me the food I already paid for. I called the store and wanted a refund. I was told only the manager can authorize a refund and he was not there. A short time later I rd wives a call from a private number and it was the manager. I told him what happened and he denied that the driver said I had to sign for the order. I informed him I did not appreciate him implying that I was lying. He said he would have another driver deliver the order. I asked for a fresh order at this point becuase who really wants to pay $30 for a old pizza and waffle fries. He was rude and never once apologized and hung up the phone when I was in the middle of a sentence. This experience was completely horrible snd disgusting . I am hoping whoever called me back was not really the manager. If he was then he needs to consider finding a new line of work becuase from this experience he is completely unfit to deal...

We will not be ordering from this location again. After being loyal customers and always tip the drivers $5-$8 tip, We received horrible customer service. Placed a simple order and clearly stated delivery and even repeated address...they informed us our order would arrive in 15-20 minutes. 45 minutes goes by and they called me and asked if it was pick up or delivery...Verified if was delivery and was told my order will be redone. 10 minutes goes by and the driver came with the food....he received a $7 tip on a $29 order. Opening the food it was cold and soggy, the mozzarella sticks were mush and the cheese was rock hard. Was thrown away. Called to speak to a manager and was given a $5 credit...ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!!. Was already upset and hungry so didn't fight it. Ended up ordering food else where since they failed to be more generous to a loyal customer. Will not be doing...

I carefully read reviews prior to trying a new restaurant and although I've lived in Woonsocket for 3 years, I have avoided this place due to how many bad reviews it has gotten. My boyfriend however, ordered here the other day and told me I should give it a shot. We ordered from here tonight and it will be the last. I ordered online at 7:27pm and the food arrived after about an hour. The delivery driver accidently dropped part of our order onto the porch - accidents happen, but when they say its going to be remade and delivered to you, you'd think that it would be made a priority. Unfortunately, after two phone calls to them, at 9:45pm it still hasn't arrived. Over two hours after the original order was placed and there's been no offer of a refund. Not sure who wants to eat dinner at 10pm on a Sunday night, but we certainly don't. Trust the negative reviews....
