I don't typically write reviews but I felt like this needed to be said. We went to this restaurant for dinner today, it was right around 5:30, and I was actually concerned that there would be a dinner rush. I was pleasantly surprised immediately put upon entering that there were only four people in the entire restaurant. Once I looked at the buffet I understood why. There were originally four pizzas under the warmer, One was a fresh pepperoni, two were pepperoni that had two or three slices left that were dried up, and one was one that looked like it had buffalo sauce and chicken on it. Immediately upon arriving I asked the cashier young lady that took our order if she could start an order of cinnamon bread and a cheese pizza. She said it was no problem and she actually walked into the back after she collected our money. I assume she was going back there to place the order with the cooks. I was wrong. Throughout the entire hour that we were there, there were only two more pizzas that were brought out. One had what looked like a creamy white sauce and chicken, and the other was a veggie pizza. The salad bar was good, but there was no pudding, and I'm guessing that was because there was no cinnamon bread so people needed something sweet. There was an entire container of red sauce pasta, but there was only a spoon and a half full left of the Alfredo pasta, and that was never changed out the entire time we were there. The noodles that were in there, half were crusted to the spoon and there was really no sauce because it was totally dried out. I was so excited to try this place because pizza has got to be one of my favorite foods, and it has been a very very long time that I have been this disappointed when going out to eat. We had our grandson, which is why we ordered the cheese pizza, and because it was never brought out we ended up having to stop at McDonald's for chicken nuggets when we left. At almost $40 for a meal, this was truly a bad experience and left a horrible taste in my mouth. We will not be bck, unless things change drastically. This restaurant truly does have the potential to be much better than CiCi's, but it has a long way to go. I'm not a fan of CiCi's, but did enjoy...
Read moreI haven't been here for almost a year now because of how bad my experience was. I waited over an hour for my pizza and chicken wings to be delivered. When I called to check on it I was told they didn't have anyone to deliver it. I asked when they would have someone to deliver it and they said probably another 30 minutes. I asked how my food could possibly be considered fresh after almost 2 hours and they said they keep them under heat lamps. I asked if I could come pick it up instead and I was put on hold while they asked the manager if I was allowed to come and pick up my own food that I already paid for. When I got there they had one girl basically doing everything and a young high-school aged boy standing there with ear phones in standing next to a broom and dust pan with dust and dirt all over the floor. I asked if I could get part or all of my money back and was told the manager would refund me. Never got my money back and never bothered going there ever again. I am a very open minded person and if you read all my reviews I've done I hardly ever have anything bad to say. I've worked in the service industry as a manager for almost 10 years and understand that during covid things were worse than they have ever been in the service industry and I NEVER treated any...
Read moreMaybe I caught them on a bad night. I placed my order at 4:30 to be delivered at 6:30. Food got here after 7:00. No big deal. My order was incomplete. Not only that one of the pasta dishes had hair on it and hanging out of the container.
Having said that, I called and complained to the manager. Very nice guy. He apologized several times. He made new food and had it sent back out to me. When the delivery guy brought the food the manager also refunded some of my money via a gift certificate.
My kids loved the Chicken Broccoli Alfredo. When I did receive my food I was thoroughly satisfied. I gotta say that the Penne al Pesto is one of the best pastas I have had. The Flat Bread w/artichoke dip was also great. The food really was excellent. Prices are not bad either.
Due to the actions of the manager and the quality of and deliciousness of the food I definitely will give this joint another shot. I myself work in a restaurant and I know that sometimes things just get screwed up. Looking forward to the future sit down eatery mentioned on...
