I was really disappointed in my first and only experience. Wings were gas station cheap quality. Pizza was good, but sauce and dough were so incredibly sweetened with sugar that it became off-putting. I'm shocked this is a chain.
There's a sign on the door saying that due to extreme kitchen temperatures, that during a pandemic, masks may not be worn by the staff for that reason and that they won't enforce masks inside...😒 Um, no, that's not how this works. The cash register does apparently produce extreme heat, like their pizza ovens, because the employee that cashed me out tonight at the register wore no mask and nor was there plexiglass. I was really upset with their lack of COVID protocols being followed.
I wanted to call and speak to the manager, but with their sign they put on the front door, and read other reviews, I figured it would be futile. Only 1 of the 4 employees in the store had a mask on properly, one had it around his chin, two others had nothing on at all.
Be warned, this location is not taking their customers or employees health and safety seriously during a pandemic. If they won't wear a mask in the front of the house, what else is being done in the back of the house to avoid other safety protocols? To their credit, there was sanitizer available.
I was excited to try this new pizza shop, but recommend saving your money for other pizza options in Wooster worth...
Read moreTheir pizza and stromboli is some of the best that I've had but.. it's rarely made the same way twice. They are always out of beverages and if you order extra sauce, you'll pay for it but rarely get it.
I ordered two strombolis for delivery today. It took the person three tries to repeat it back to me correctly and when it got to my place it was still the wrong order. They have a door dash driver half the time so you can't use cash. When I called and placed the order I told them I only had cash and they said it wouldn't be a problem so I thought they had a regular driver that day.
When the door dash driver showed up he wouldn't accept the cash because he wasn't instructed to receive any. After he left I called Romeo's to let them know the order wasn't paid for yet. After 20 minutes on hold I hung up and called back later. When they answered they asked me to drive the money down there lol.
I informed them that I didn't have a car and that's why I had it delivered in the first place so they said they would send someone out to pick up the money, that was 6 hours ago. I love their food but the business is a...
Read moreUpdate: We couldn't wait a few weeks, so tried again last night and got through right away! Our order came quickly and it was fantastic. Romeo's was my favorite pizza joint in Medina county and I'm so glad they came to Wooster.
As noted in my original review, the app and website need a lot of work. At least as they pertain to this store. Ordering by phone was totally fine, however and the person who answered was friendly and attentive. We'll be back soon and often, I'm sure.
Original Review: Rough start for this location. We were excited to try Romeo's after seeing that they were coming to town. After receiving a menu in the mail, we planned on pizza for dinner. Unfortunately the app told us that we were not in deliverable range (we live in the middle of town), the website order form couldn't locate a Wooster location, and we called 5 times with no answer. So we gave up. Hopefully they're just busy in the shop, but the online and app options need some serious attention. We'll try again in...
