Just to be up front, I did not get to try the food. We went specifically to get perogies and some sandwiches to try. We were the only ones in the store when we walked in, we went up to order when more people came in behind us, we went to the counter and ordered our two sandwiches and when we went to order the perogies we were told to wait till our sandwiches were done and we would order them after and ask to step aside. Then the lady behind us, whom seemed to be a regular, ordered her sandwiches and the rest of the perogies they had all at once. I'm sure this place is great if you are a regular, but for me as a new customer I was treated second class. We left without getting anything. I have no problems with putting in extra effort for your regulars, but the real kicker for us was when someone called on the phone for perogies and they told them they were out, and the guy said first come first serve and started laughing with the customer. Toms deli has the best Italian grinder I have ever had. Thr bread is fresh and perfectly chewy. The vegetables were crisp and the meats piled on! My family and I visited this deli today. The owner gave my young son a lollipop and we ordered 2 Italians (made two different ways) and we purchased other specialty snacks while we waited. The sandwiches were ready in a matter of 5 mins. The service was beyond our expectations and we will certainly be back. Parking and location are a little tricky but we were lucky and were able to get a close parking spot, which we did have to pay for. Leaving for home was easier than arriving and we were on our way home with our delicious sandwiches in a matter of mere minutes. I want to go back again once a month. I...
