2019 original review: Stay away for health reasons, food isn't fresh and will possibly leave you ill.
So, after dining on terrible food here on saturday, I have been calling to speak to the manager about the quality and freshness of my food, and more importantly, the fact that I had to spend half of the next day in bed instead of with my family. I had stomach pains and diarrhea, plus a headache in the morning and evening. I had made some soup with ginger and garlic, and that's pretty much all I could handle that day, I was hurting bad enough. I spent a good deal of money on my order and it was not fresh, the sauce tasted very off and weird and I have 80% of the food left. Since they kept telling me the manager isn't there, on 4+ calls now, I will just go there and let them now I was not pleased, became sick, and something needs to be done.
We can't continue to allow restaurants to sicken us and get away with it. I once lost a job due to being out for several days after eating at subway, which I never liked to begin with, but was on a health kick and had limited options. Ordering all the vegetables and healthy items on one sub didn't work out well, "eat fresh my behind"...can't stand that slogan. Food left out all day and continuously dug into is not eating fresh. Anyways, stay away if you value your money, your health and time with family. They don't respect you enough to find out why you'd like to speak to the manager, and just hang up seconds after. You will see in the pic the food left, and who the heck deep fries a peking ravioli, and with a thick breading?! Only most of the spare ribs are gone, half the rangoons, a couple peking raviolis, and some rice. See that nasty brown sweet n sour sauce?? Something was not right with it, besides the color... (Pic is...
Read moreThe foods pretty good if you get it during the right time of the year, it seems. Itll be really good for a while and then they start slacking and giving gross chicken wings and gross lomein and gross rice, so we stop going for like a year. The chicken fingers are always good. We went today after not going for a while and it was pretty good. They finally have the chicken wings we like again, when they glisten and are brown and nice size. When they slack they be having the tiny light brown chicken wings that be dry and dont have any flavor, but it was good today so we will be back, for now anyway, until they start slacking again. Their beef terriyaki is tiny, and red, compared to other places, but it was good and flavorful. I didnt get the shrimp fried rice or shrimp lomein like i normally would so i cant judge that today. We got white rice instead, and it was nice and fluffy. They have good eggrolls, the fried rice is usually very dry, the lomein is usually burnt and dark because im pretty sure they precook it and then they add more soy sauce to it while they reheat it to serve to people 🤢, their crab rangoons are ok, not my favorite, i avoid them. Overall,...
Read moreBeen eating here for nearly twenty years. Only place I will get Chinese food in or near Worcester. They are incredibly fast, the food and fresh and hot, and the service is always kind and easy going! Love me some Wen Hing! I would be so sad if they ever closed! Just so you know, this is not a sit down restaurant. They have a few tables, yes, but do not expect to come here to sit down with a group or on date. They prioritize their food above all!
The best food I have had here: Chicken fingers Fried rice Beef teriyaki Fried wontons (note: they have meat) Wonton soup Mixed vegetables Spare ribs Duck sauce(phenomenal)
My top favorite thing to order here is probably the chicken fingers...
