Read moreThis place is horrible! So the first time I came here they overcharged me, they charged me one price then when I got home an hour later I seen that they charged me an additional like 20-something dollars on my card! after me leaving!! After waiting 2 hours literally I'm not lying 2 hours for the food while they were serving other people that came in after me and serving themselves, eating themselves while I waited! So this time I went in and got food they said they didn't have receipt paper he said he will text me the receipt after getting home I noticed they overcharged me again!! As well as giving themselves a tip with my hard earned money! I'm all for tipping I tip every time I go somewhere but for you to tip yourself with my money is crazy and it's not okay by any means!! This time I called and the guy said he would refund me the money it would take two or three days, a week later I did not get a refund I called like four different times every time I called they said the manager is not in I have to call back! I asked when is he going to be in, they told me when he's going to be in then I called at that time and he's not in. I never received a refund!! The food was not even good I didn't even finish my plate, the meat was so dry, hard and didn't taste good at all!! Then the pickled vegetables also were very raunchy tasting!! Save yourself some money don't go to this place, they clearly are ripping people off, they don't care what quality of food or service they serve/give to people and have no customer service! 😞 Make sure you always check your receipts! I also heard someone say they got food poisoning from this place recently!! Stay clear from...
Read moreThis place is a middle-of-the night gem! I had just driven 10 hours from West Virginia, and my Cousin had just moved into Worcester. He didn’t know of anything open at 11:30 PM, and neither did I. I simple Googled delis open late in Worcester, and up pops “Jourdan’s Deli and Shawarma”.
We hit the jackpot. The food was excellent. The people were kind and funny and charming. I used to be a professor in Dubai, and I got to dust off my bad Arabic on them, and they were generous enough to enjoy it. The Gyro was great, and the sauces and veggies were fresh and home made. The lemonade (with mint) was freshly squeezed (note: Ask for sugar syrup!) and the cakes, the cakes, the cakes! Perfect for late night after party snacks or like me, a stop from fresh, homemade food late at night.
Great job, Jourdan’s. I’ll be back again, and I’m sure that my Cousin (who lives a few blocks away) will...
