I would’ve given this hotel a five star review on everything unfortunately I just had an unpleasant experience at the front desk. I was forced to have someone come pick up my dogs because I got blamed for my dogs barking when it was another dog down the hall. Behind the desk this evening, extremely rude when I asked for new sheets for my son because he had had an accident. I was denied blankets and sheets for my child. Several times. I was told that they don’t have any and that they would have to call another hotel while I was here she in the middle of the night and the guy at the front desk casually gave them right over to me no questions ask just like a real hotel is supposed to. Threatened that I would be upset that my child would not have blankets to use. Around 10 PM June 2, 2024. The man behind the desk would not give me his name and refused to give me managers information. Called the police department and they thought this was absolutely ridiculous since it was close to 11. They were hoping that there might be a shift change and I could just try someone else. Thankfully, my friend came by and spoke with these men who were out of line. I finally got sheets by 10:30. I had tried to ask for sheets earlier in the day when the cleaning crews were out and I was denied as well. I have been staying here since Tuesday and it is now five days up until tonight. Everything was going great I had. Guy that was working the desk every night named Rick who is pleasant, polite, kind efficient, and helpful. I hope the general manager sees this as well as the owner and I hope proper actions are taken against these two individuals at the front desk this evening. One was a thin Indian man The other may be part of maintenance. He walks around with a hat and he’s never really behind the front desk. He’s hanging around quite frequently delivered sheets didn’t even say a word to me. This is absolute abuse of power and these individuals should be reprimanded for causing such distress to a single mom her three children and pets this is not the example of a pet friendly hotel. I would also like the pet fee removed from my bill since A huge disruption to our state especially at 10 o’clock at night on a Sunday evening Around midnight I got to enjoy the wailing of the dog in the next room. Around 1245. I went back down to the front desk to report the dog and remind them that I sent my dogs away from the hotel with my friend due to false accusations. Discovered the hotel front office managers card which Mario failed to provide me ...
Read moreBEWARE when booking here. On January 26th 2024 I called to book a room for the robotics competition my son was in. I talked to Rick. Unfortunately he was not able to extend a room block so we had to make 3 separate reservations one for the 6th of June, one for the 7th and 8th (this was the room block) and one for the 9th. We had another family member make the same reservation.
On May 19th I went to check my reservations to make sure I was all set and it was showing I only had ONE reservation for the 7th and 8th. I called the hotel and spoke to someone to confirm I only had one reservation. Thankfully he was SO helpful! He told me he had canceled my reservation for the 7th and 8th and booked me ONE reservation checking in the 6th checking out the 10th.
On May 24th our plans changed so I called the hotel and canceled our reservation. I even got a cancelation email.
Fast forward to June 23rd and we have 2 separate charges on our credit card. One for 256.37 and one for 257.31. I called the hotel to get this taken care of and spoke to an EXTREMLY rude man. He was screaming at me, interrupting me, and talking over me. Every time I tried to open my mouth to talk he would over talk me and tell me "it doesn't matter." He swore up and down there were no reservations under my name and that I was lying to him. Told me there were no charges and I was wrong. After placing my husband on the phone we got hung up on by this gentleman. So we called corporate. Again we were told there were no reservations under our name and there should be no charges. They were opening an investigation and would be getting back to me, they encouraged me to dispute the charge with my credit card company. I was also told the manager of the hotel would be contacting me in regards to my experience with the man on the phone as well as the charge... On June 25th I received an email from Hilton Guest Assistance stating they found my reservation and the hotel had made a not stating they were taken care of by the hotel. I was told I would see a refund within 10 days. Here it is July 19th and there is still NO refund to my account along with no call from the hotel manager in regards to the man I spoke with...
Read moreWe stayed one night as a stopover on a road trip September 2-3 in room 215. It was fine. The beds could have been more comfortable as could the pillows, but we brought our own anyway. The pool was fine. Tiny. But fine. There were only 2 towels left for 4 of us. We traveled with kids so dropped a few things between the bed and table and noticed it was pretty nasty down there. The furniture also wasnt polished properly. You couldn't tell if it was old and touched up too many times or just touched too many times and never cleaned. There were stains all down the sides of the bed and under the mattress was gross. All. Kinds. Of. Hair. (Yes, that kind) That made me fear the bedding wasn't clean either. There's a pole or something sticking out of a boxspring that cut my daughter's leg so that was cool. Lastly, theres a sliding barn type door for the bathroom, presumably to save space. My daughter smashed her finger in it because it slides so quickly. It was also fithy. The shelves they put the towels on were filthy. The outside of the lotion and soap bottles havent been wiped down and honestly Overall I really hate when hotels leave the old roll of toilet paper in there after a guest leaves. Bite the $.10 and toss it. The tissues were like 6 loose ones shoved in the box. The room just didnt feel clean and it felt cheap. At breakfast the tables weren't wiped down after guests left and there was an employee literally watching you plate your food. Wouldn't cleaning be a better use of your time? They refilled the omelets while we were there but they did not remove the old ones on the bottom or rotate them. The potatoes were also soggy. Paper plates.
Idk. I guess I expected more from a...
