Wooden Bakery — Restaurant in Worcester

Hands down, the best bakery in Worcester. You can’t convince me otherwise. Wooden Bakery has a strong following of people who recognize the difference in quality. Seriously.

Every morning they have a different selection of specialty pastries, breads and sandwiches. I love ham and cheese croissant, cinnamon rolls, cookies, and baguettes. They sometimes offer pizza, it’s seriously perfection.

Pass on the BirchTree/Crust conglomerate. Run don’t walk to Wooden Bakery, get there early (8-9am) for their best selection, when they run out for the day, they run out! Look for the yellow sign out front that directs you to the entrance in the back of the building....

If you haven’t tried Wooden Bakery yet, do yourself a favor and do so. It’s a very unassuming place tucked inside Wooden Bar on Knowlton Ave. This place is a gem to be sure. I tried several of their pastries and all were outstanding. I’ve been to many French bakeries around the US and Europe and this is a close tie for one of my all time favs. Their croissants are perfection. The staff are super friendly. Don’t miss out!
