I was at your restaurant yesterday. I ordered your Pad Thai. When ordering, we specifically told waitress that we are vegan, no animal products. When Pad Thia came out it looked great, lots or rice noodles and vegetables . However upon closer examination it contained eggs. So I kindly told waitress and she took my dish back to kitchen. Within a few minutes, she came back out. I'm thinking wow that was super fast service, how did they make a Pad Thai that fast? True there were no eggs, but also hardly any noodles. I literally only had 4 or 5 bits of noodles. I looked to me and those with me, that someone in the kitchen just removed the eggs, more than half of the noodles, rearranged the vegetables, maybe added some tofu and voila - there you go! I could have done that. That's not the point, especially these days with so many people having food allergies or intolerances. Now my mind begins to wonder was the person in the kitchen, using his or her hand picking through my plate wearing gloves? I'm not even kidding today I have an upset stomach! Lastly just so you know something about me, I've never wrote a post like this before and I generally never complain when we goimg out to a restaurant. I just wanted to let you know that I was not happy and very disappointed with your service on...
Read moreWe have been dining at this restaurant for a number of years and aside from the higher than fair prices, had no serious issues. Tonight was very different and very unpleasant. My husband ordered a bowl of pho and I asked for stir fried udon with vegetables. I have had this dish several times there. The waiter stated that they could not make my dish - "they had no udon" and it's not on the menu. There was a beef and udon soup offered so I guess they can't provide that dish either. The crispy mini eggrolls we ordered as an appetizer arrived. They were burned and very unappetizing. I told the waiter to take them back and bring some that were cooked correctly. The manager then appeared and in a very hostile manner said that the eggrolls were NOT burned "that's the way they make them". I started to say that this was not true from the many time I'd had them in the past. I thought better of it and we just decided to leave. We won't be going back. It was bad enough that they would not prepare the dish I requested (very simple), but to then argue about the appetizer -...
Read moreI had Pho here for lunch as the name of the restaurant is Pho Dakao, though you can find many other Vietnamese dishes here. But actually what I had is not really Pho, OMG, it is just Pho-like:)). I am from Hanoi - the city where Pho originates so I know so well what Pho is like. The noodle here is not Pho noodle, instead, its taste is like Mi Quang or Hu Tieu ( In Vietnam there are dozens of kinds of noodles: bun, pho, mi quang, mien, hu tieu, mi van than...and every one has its own flavor. Pho noole must be bigger, flatter and not sticky at all)...The beef here is cooked in a different way – not Pho’s way. The water is also some kind of Pho-like. I have had Pho in Hien Vuong restaurant and Pho Sure in Worcester and found their Pho were better, especially at Pho Sure. However, in my friend’s opinion, this flavor may better suit American. I do not know the price as it was paid by my friend, but I think it is reasonable. Anyway, the service is ok. We don’t have to wait so long. The area is fine, quite spacious.Parking area is large enough. (I forgot to...
