Asian market a sprawling Asian market here in Worcester, is a haven for adventurous eaters and home cooks alike. Walking through the aisles is like taking a whirlwind tour of Asia, with ingredients and products from China, Korea, Japan, Vietnam, and beyond. Selection This market boasts an incredible selection. Fresh produce is a highlight, with exotic finds like dragonfruit, kabocha squash, and yard-long beans alongside familiar favorites. The aisles overflow with an amazing array of pantry staples: glistening jars of kimchi, potent curries, and an entire wall of different types of noodles. There's a freezer section stocked with dumplings, buns, and frozen seafood, perfect for easy weeknight meals. Experience Be prepared for a sensory adventure. The market bustles with activity, and the air is filled with the enticing aromas of spices and fresh ingredients. While signage might be limited in English, don't be afraid to ask for help! The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and many customers are happy to point you in the right direction. Recommendations For adventurous eaters, try some of the unfamiliar fruits and vegetables. You might discover your new favorite ingredient! Don't miss the prepared food section, where you can find delicious pre-made dishes like japchae or banh mi. Overall Asian markets a fantastic place to stock up on Asian groceries. With its vast selection, friendly atmosphere, and reasonable prices, it's a one-stop shop for all your Asian culinary needs. Just be prepared to spend some time exploring – this market is a labyrinth of delicious possibilities! Keep in mind The sheer variety can be overwhelming, so it helps to have a shopping list in mind. Also, some things might be unfamiliar, so be ready to embrace the adventure!

This is typical Asian market where you get plenty of groceries and kitchen vessels from China or Asia. I have visited to buy fish. Certainly this shop impressed me lot. There are plenty of seafood varieties from the continent which are fresh. There are plenty of live cat fish and crabs. All are full and uncut. There are at least four who clean and cut the fish as pieces for you. That's simply superb. They clean and cut so neat. You certainly love it! Since there are plenty of varieties you can buy according to your budget starting less than 2$ per pound. Indians can find plenty of fishes which you are familiar with. Five to ten minutes you can walkout happily! Go to place for your seafood!

This place is an absolute lifesaver for everyone used to Asian style home cooking. They have everything you need, plus all the stuff you didn’t know you needed but will buy because it looks delicious. Ex. this Japanese mochi red bean matcha ice cream dessert. They have an amazing seafood department, I always go for the salmon steaks, whole mackerel, shrimp, and crabs. They also always carry a huge selection of popular snacks for you to try! The vegetable selection is always stocked and you can always find what you need. Too bad the roasted duck/crispy pork counter is no longer available, I hope they reopen that soon.

I would give it 0 if I can. Went to this place today and wanted to buy some beef tendon. The old guy who sold it asked me which one you wanted to choose and I chose one that is big. It weighs 4 lbs and I don’t want such a huge one so I asked him to cut it into two pieces. This happened before and every time I can get it done, but today this guy refused to do so and he said he didn’t want to cut it. Also, this guy used his BARE hands to get and TOUCH the meat, which is VERY disgusting. I asked several times and I couldn’t understand his Chinese very well so I went to the manager for help, the manager was an old short Chinese woman, she came with me and heard about what happened and told me,you can simple don’t buy it at all. I said is that the way you dealt with this situation? She replied that I can tell you are doing this on purpose and you are provoking. I don’t think anyone will just ask to buy a piece of 2 lbs beef on purpose. Both old guy and old woman had a very bad attitude as if as a customer, you cannot choose what you want to buy, I even guess these two people had a fight with their spouse in the morning or they are simply not happy about their lives . Will never come this place, worst customer experience ever compare with any other grovery

No one works in this store can speak good Chinese, no one works in this store can speak good English. It would be hard to believe that people who work in this store all have a...

Solid 4 stars and not a single one more. Great variety of Asian vegetables and fruits, with some actively decaying so one must do one’s part to screen produce well prior to adding to the basket. Good assortment of Asian snacks. Check the expiration dates x2. Fish section looks hectic and meat section looks free most times. Not the cleanest place or the best smelling place. There is the old Asian supermarket smell vastly present in the air. Some prices are labeled incorrectly so take a photo to show the cashier on items that are on sale. I had this happen at every visit. Speaking of cashiers and other staff, don’t expect A+ service. Don’t even expect a C- service. They just do their job without an ounce of additional effort. This is honestly, pretty typical. I can understand why many reviewers experience culture shock here. You’ll get used to it. Lots of parking here. The dollar store is conveniently in the same plaza. This place accepts card, cash, and food...
