Read moreI would give it 0 if I can. Went to this place today and wanted to buy some beef tendon. The old guy who sold it asked me which one you wanted to choose and I chose one that is big. It weighs 4 lbs and I don’t want such a huge one so I asked him to cut it into two pieces. This happened before and every time I can get it done, but today this guy refused to do so and he said he didn’t want to cut it. Also, this guy used his BARE hands to get and TOUCH the meat, which is VERY disgusting. I asked several times and I couldn’t understand his Chinese very well so I went to the manager for help, the manager was an old short Chinese woman, she came with me and heard about what happened and told me,you can simple don’t buy it at all. I said is that the way you dealt with this situation? She replied that I can tell you are doing this on purpose and you are provoking. I don’t think anyone will just ask to buy a piece of 2 lbs beef on purpose. Both old guy and old woman had a very bad attitude as if as a customer, you cannot choose what you want to buy, I even guess these two people had a fight with their spouse in the morning or they are simply not happy about their lives . Will never come this place, worst customer experience ever compare with any other grovery
No one works in this store can speak good Chinese, no one works in this store can speak good English. It would be hard to believe that people who work in this store all have a...
Read moreSolid 4 stars and not a single one more. Great variety of Asian vegetables and fruits, with some actively decaying so one must do one’s part to screen produce well prior to adding to the basket. Good assortment of Asian snacks. Check the expiration dates x2. Fish section looks hectic and meat section looks free most times. Not the cleanest place or the best smelling place. There is the old Asian supermarket smell vastly present in the air. Some prices are labeled incorrectly so take a photo to show the cashier on items that are on sale. I had this happen at every visit. Speaking of cashiers and other staff, don’t expect A+ service. Don’t even expect a C- service. They just do their job without an ounce of additional effort. This is honestly, pretty typical. I can understand why many reviewers experience culture shock here. You’ll get used to it. Lots of parking here. The dollar store is conveniently in the same plaza. This place accepts card, cash, and food...
