The Little Caesar’s Pizza Oak Lawn, IL location fraudulently charges your debit/credit card! They tell you to run your card through multiple times stating each time that the payment didn’t go through and run it again. Upon checking your bank statement, the charges went through and the short, heavy-set manager refuses to refund their error claiming she doesn’t see the transactions in her system despite providing a bank statement showing the very real charges and checking account deductions! Miguel with the Moe Howard haircut and his long-haired minion took me for over $30 on Halloween!
On Halloween, I made the mistake of visiting this Little Caesar’s Pizza location. After waiting 10 minutes to place an order, Miguel takes my order and asks me to pay. I pull my card out, and he tells me that he can’t take credit card payments at his center station. He then pulls the order up on the far left register and has his long haired half-stoned minion ring up the order. I run my card and am told the card didn’t go through. Run it again. The second time he states the card still didn’t go through. Run it again. I state that I’m not running the card a third time because he will set off a fraud alert with my bank. I will just pay cash. Now I have to go back to Miguel’s register to pay cash.
I’m waiting over 25 minutes for my order, yet I see people who placed their order at Miguel’s register long after I placed my order, receiving their order and walking out. I am also witnessing Miguel having no issue taking credit card payments from other customers at his station. Finally, a woman from the back who was handing out orders asked me if I had received mine and asked for my name. Well, Miguel never asked for my name and took it upon himself to place the order under the name “Xavier.” I told this to the woman, and also questioned why I was asked to pay by card at a different register only to be told my perfectly working card was not working. My fear was that a “skimmer” was on that other machine. The whole thing seemed very suspicious to me especially since Miguel seemed to have no issue taking card payments at his center station after my order fiasco! I was then verbally assaulted and harassed by some unknown big mouthed busybody woman customer waiting for her order who had no business getting involved in my business!
I finally arrive home to find that my card was indeed twice charged $15.40 for the transactions I was told didn’t go through! Now, I am out $46.20 between the two fraudulent card charges with money stolen directly from my checking account and the one cash payment! After all this, the pizza was soggy and half cooked while the Crazy Breads were uncooked dough!
Today, I bring my statement showing the two fraudulent charges and my cash receipt to Little Caesar’s Oak Lawn. While a woman was trying to help me, Miguel walked up front verbally assaulting me instead of apologizing for my time, my gas and the $30.80 of fraudulent checking account deductions he and his friend placed on my card! The woman helping me couldn’t find the two $15.40 debit/credit card charges on the system and told me to return to speak to the manager. I drive to my bank to get an official bank statement only to return to find that the actual manager states she can’t find the charges either and file a credit card dispute. Well, this was a debit/credit card so they stole the money direct from my checking account! The manager claims that something must be wrong with my card. If something had been wrong with my card, I wouldn’t have two $15.40 Little Caesar’s Pizza Oak Lawn transactions deducted direct from my checking account! She had no interest in resolving this matter or further investigating this issue! So now, I have to waste my time fighting to get my money returned because of the incompetence of the Little Caesar’s Pizza Oak Lawn employees and...
Read moreYesterday, my family and I placed an order for the pizza portal. We placed the order at 4:00, we drove over to pick up the order at 4:30 when the pizzas were already in the oven for 20 minutes so we figured the food would be ready shortly. We ended up getting our pizzas over an hour later. In the midst of waiting, no names were labeled on the pizza portal while pizzas we’re sitting in there.. then only 1 of 5 employees was the only one helping all 20+ customers in the waiting area, cutting the pizzas himself and trying to pass out completed orders. A third employee just kept telling customers “it’ll be an hour wait because we are closed, cancel your order if you don’t want to wait!” Then another worker was in the back, texting on her phone, not making pizzas or assisting any of her coworkers or any of the customers. The store doesn’t close until 10:00 pm and the oven was working, as they were still trying to complete everyone’s orders that were placed hours prior. It was the most bizarre situation ever and the worst customer service witnessed. Food was alright but one pizza was cold since they had to make the second pizza when we reminded them at 5:15, while waiting. Lastly, there was no where online to cancel the order or unable to demand a refund since the workers told us to cancel the order online if we didn’t want to wait which is unbelievable. We are still appalled by this entire...
Read moreWorst experience I’ve had at this location.
I just wanted to order a cheese pizza with some crazy bread along with a Pepsi. I walked in, waited for someone to come to the counter. For about 10 mins I waited at the front, while an employee kept motioning to me to give her a second. The other two were in the back, chatting and on their phones. One of the employees in the back ended up cleaning up a bit, while the other on stayed on her phone. She knew there were people in the front because she was not only told, but seen us standing there waiting to service us. As she finally decided to work, she dialed a number on her personal cell, walked to the counter, and continued to have a conversation while I ordered and didn’t say a word to me (which she didn’t have to, but with how it took her 10 mins to actually want to work, a sorry would have been appreciated). To add to all of that, the pizza was cold and they barely cut it. Thankfully I had a pizza cutter and an oven, but cold and not easy to tear apart? You work at a pizza place. The pizza should be at least warm and cut for the people who order it.
I totally get that it’s exceptionally hard now-a-days to not only find workers, but to also find good ones but this is unacceptable. Especially after reading some of the reviews that were just posted about this location in the last few days.
Definitely not worth ordering...
