I feel like I got GOT. I viewed the menu online first and called to order a VEGGIE burrito. I don’t eat meat but occasionally I eat seafood so I asked to add shrimp. She said so you want a shrimp burrito? I said no I want a veggie burrito because I want all the same veggies plus shrimp. I got there to pick it up and it was no other customers there so I can’t comment on atmosphere. It was close to closing time and 2 guys were sitting at the table near the register and the young lady/cashier that took my order on the phone was standing talking to them so she walked back to grab my food and ring me up. She was polite. I was charged $18.21 for 1 burrito. She rang up a $15 shrimp burrito and added $1 for guacamole and a charge for using a card. So I mentioned, that’s why I asked for a veggie burrito, bc it comes with guacamole right. The guy sitting down chimes in and says there’s shrimp in there. I know because I put them in myself, there’s 10 of them. I said that’s not what I’m talking about, I’m asking isn’t it cheaper to charge me for a $9 veggie burrito and charge extra for the shrimp? How much is shrimp? He says well it depends on what you adding it to, I said a burrito, he still didn’t have an answer. The girl was just going back and forth with me saying prices went up a veggie burrito is $10 and yea the veggie comes with guacamole bc it doesn’t come with meat just veggies and I say yea I know that’s why I asked for a veggie but wanted to just pay extra for shrimp. Then I just said forget it and took my food and left. After looking at the menu again I don’t see itemized prices for extra meat nor do I see a shrimp burrito period. They also have a burrito dinner for $11 where you choose the meat and get rice and beans on the side. Either way you look at it, I feel like I was over charged. Then to make matters worse the burrito wasn’t even tasty. I eat anything and usually not picky but it just had a strange taste. My husband took a bite and said it was just nasty, maybe the cheese or something. I didn’t see the sour cream or beans, it was supposed to come with, the beans were mushy and it was quite dry. Won’t be back here. They need to revamp their menu to avoid confusion and not...
Read moreI would suggest to go later in the day better service. I asked for some utensils and the waitress said oh I put some on the table. I told her no ma'am there was nothing on the table. She said I'll get some more now if you're taking them home that's another thing. I think she thought that I didn't catch the shad she tried to throw at me but I did...she came back with some and didn't say a word. As I stacked my dishes up she finally came around to pick up the dirty dishes and I said oh you see your utensils? I'm not stealing them after all...she gave a little smile and said oh no that was me I left them in the back. I went this past Saturday morning around 11am, can't tell you the servers name because she never told me! Humph she needs some coaching and development because the regular servers in the late afternoon evening are wonderful. Yes I still tipped her but nowhere near what I tip the...
Read moreI have to say I normally won't share my opinions unless a family or a friend asks, however I really love this Lucky Burrito out of all three locations. We usually order all the time from the Palos Heights location, however the last three times we've ordered from here and there has been no disappointment. We've had everything from flautas, tacos, fajitas, nachos, steak, chicken, pork and everything was delicious full of flavor no fat delicious!! Not to mention their Pico salsa is so damn good that I could literally drink it. Their drinks were delicious the atmosphere is awesome the last two times we were there we ate in their banquet room. I would definitely recommend going to this location. Wish I knew about you guys sooner. And on that note Palos Heights location step...
